on pricing and selling used passenger cars
The Ministry of General Engineering provides in agreement with the State Planning Commission and the Ministry of Internal Trade pursuant to § 5 of Government Decree No. 60 / 1959 Coll., on the scope of planning, pricing and control, and under § 1 of Act No. 160 / 1949 Coll., on Internal Trade:
The provisions of this Decree apply to passenger cars, including STW (Station Wagon), which are or have already been held by the consumer (used vehicles); However, they shall not apply to second-hand vehicles to which the competent authority has permanently withdrawn their competence to operate.
The highest price at which a used vehicle can be sold and purchased is the price formed from the base price of the vehicle by deducting the depreciation deduction. The basic price of a vehicle shall be the retail price of a new identical or comparable vehicle type, valid on the day on which the used vehicle is sold. In the event of a deterioration, account shall be taken of the age, technical condition, equipment and other characteristics of the vehicle. The depreciation reduction shall be at least 20%. This highest price means the price at the vehicle position.
Private persons are not allowed to brokerage used vehicles in return for payment.
The Ministry of General Engineering may provide for exemptions from the provisions of this Decree.
Decree No 44 / 1951 of the Ú. l. I on the pricing and sale of used motor vehicles and their trailers shall be repealed.
This Decree shall take effect from 1 July 1960.
