DECLARATION

on restrictions on inward processing in a conditional system for selected goods
The Ministry of Finance provides, pursuant to § 165 (4) of Act No. 13 / 1993 Coll., customs law:
§ 1
(1) The inward processing procedure under the suspension scheme may, in addition to the other goods referred to in the Customs Tariff, (1) release goods falling within headings and subheadings:
(a) 1701 - cane or beet sugar and chemically pure sucrose in solid form,
(b) 1702 30 10, 1702 40 10, 1702 60 10 and 1702 90 30 - isoglucose,
(c) 1702 90 99 - other sugars, including invert sugars, other
(d) 2106 90 30 - syrups containing added flavouring or colouring matter, of isoglucose,
(e) 2106 90 59 - flavouring or colouring matter syrups, other, and
(f) 1806 10 90 - cocoa powder containing 80% or more by weight of sucrose,
a total quantity not exceeding 4600 tonnes in the calendar year.
(2) Where the quantity of goods referred to in paragraph 1 or more has already been imported or placed under inward processing arrangements in the suspension system before the entry into force of this Order in 2002, the provisions of paragraph 1 shall not apply.
§ 2
(1) The placing on the market of the authorised quantity of goods shall be governed by the timetable for the customs declarations made for the release of the goods referred to in Article 1 under the inward processing procedure in the suspension system and accepted in one calendar day.
(2) The Ministry of Finance - Directorate-General for Customs is responsible for the allocation of quantities each working day.
(3) Where the quantity requested for drawing on a calendar day is greater than the balance available from the authorised quantity, the Ministry of Finance - Directorate-General for Customs - shall determine the allocation of the quantity of goods for that calendar day in proportion.
§ 3
This Decree shall take effect on the date of its publication and shall expire on 31 December 2002.
