on the reorganisation of military education.
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on the following Act:
Act No. 92 / 1951 Coll., on Vocational Education, is amended as follows:
1. Paragraphs 3 and 4 are deleted.
2. Paragraph 5 shall be amended and read as follows:
"(1) The voluntary organisation, in particular the Union for the Cooperation with the Army (hereinafter referred to as the Union), which is declared a voluntary organisation under Act No. 68 / 1951 Coll., on voluntary organisations and gatherings.
(2) The Union, in close cooperation with voluntary organisations, shall ensure that professional education is carried out in such organisations. "
3. Paragraph 9 shall be amended and read as follows:
"(1) The costs of carrying out professional education shall be borne by voluntary organisations of their own resources.
(2) The costs of the Union which are insufficient to cover its funds are borne by the State. "
In a transitional period until 31 August 1953, professional education in schools, state-of-the-art advance schools, youth centres and other establishments carrying out similar tasks is compulsory and essential directives issued by the Ministry of National Defence apply to its implementation.
The right and obligations of the organisations listed in Act No. 2 / 1924 Coll., on postal pigeons, are exercised by the Union.
This Act shall take effect on 1 January 1953; It shall be carried out by national defence and interior ministers in agreement with participating members of the Government.
