DECLARATION

supplementing the Agreement between the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Republic of Senegal on Air Transport (No 13 / 1963 Coll.)
An agreement was negotiated between the governments of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Republic of Senegal on air transport between the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Republic of Senegal on 27 June 1963 and that of Senegal on 1 October 1963.
The supplement entered into force on 1 October 1963.
The Czech translation note of the Embassy of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic in Paris and the Embassy of the Republic of Senegal in Paris is announced simultaneously.

The Embassy of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic shows respect for the Embassy of the Republic of Senegal and has the honour to inform him that the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic agrees that the Agreement between the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Republic of Senegal on Air Transport signed in Prague on 20 June 1962 should be supplemented by the following provision:
"(1a) Equipment and tools imported by airlines designated by one of the Contracting Parties to be used at the international airport of the other Contracting Party to establish or operate international air services provided by those airlines shall be exempt from all customs duties, inspection fees and other similar charges and charges provided that they remain at that airport."
The Embassy of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic has the honour of proposing that, if the Government of the Republic of Senegal agrees with that supplement, this note and the reply form an agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Republic of Senegal on this matter and that the proposed supplement enter into force on the date of the reply of the Embassy of the Republic of Senegal.
The Embassy of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic uses this opportunity to reassure the Embassy of the Republic of Senegal with its profound respect.

The Embassy of the Republic of Senegal has just received the consent of the Government of Senegal to the content and wording of this note.
