repealing the maintenance committees established under the Law on the State Aid to Maintenance and transferring their responsibilities to national committees.
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on the following Act:
(1) The Regional and Regional Nutrition Commission, established pursuant to Article 7 of the Law of 23 September 1919, No 530 Coll., on the State Aid to Maintenance, is hereby repealed. The competence of district maintenance committees shall be transferred to regional national committees and to regional maintenance committees, without prejudice to the provisions of paragraph 2, to regional national committees.
(2) The competence of the Land Maintenance Committees in cases where the person claiming residence outside the territory of the Czechoslovak Republic, and the competence of the Land Maintenance Commission in Prague, in cases where he is not a Czechoslovak citizen, is transferred to the Central National Committee in Prague.
The proceedings which have already been initiated before the district or county maintenance committee shall be continued in accordance with the provisions of the Decree of 13 January 1928, No 8 Coll., on proceedings in matters falling within the competence of the political authorities (administrative proceedings). However, if such proceedings run on the date of the publication of this law, the current provisions shall apply, according to which the appeal lodged by the representative of the financial administration on the maintenance committee shall also be dealt with.
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication; It shall be implemented by the Minister for the Interior in agreement with participating members of the Government.
