ORDER
GOVERNMENTS OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC
of 13 April 2022
on the adoption of crisis measures to ensure the provision of social services for the duration of the emergency situation
Following the Government Resolution No 147 of 2 March 2022 by which the Government, in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of Constitutional Act No. 110 / 1998 Coll., on the security of the Czech Republic, declared emergency status for the territory of the Czech Republic because of the need to respond to a large migration wave in the Czech Republic, and pursuant to Article 5 (b), (c), (e) and (f) and § 6 (1) (b) and (d), paragraph 2 (b), (d), (e), (f) and (g) of the Act No. 240 / 2000 Coll., on crisis management and amendment of certain laws (crisis law), as amended, for the resolution of a crisis situation, the Government has decided to adopt a crisis measure, by virtue of the provisions of § 6 (2) (g) of the Crisis Act.
Government with effect from 14 April 2022 at 00am for the duration of the emergency
I. Orders
1. provide social services to social service providers, to the extent necessary, to foreigners who have been granted temporary protection in the Czech Republic under Act No. 65 / 2022 Coll., on certain measures in connection with armed conflict in the territory of Ukraine caused by the invasion of Russian troops (hereinafter referred to as "temporary protection aliens"), with a view to ensuring the protection of their life and health, including by providing essential activities which do not relate to a registered type of social service, provided that the provider permits personnel and material technical security for the duration of the emergency,
2. inform social service providers of the registration authority of the change in the information on the social services provided under point 1 within 15 calendar days of the date on which the change occurred;
3. to social service providers, to limit the provision of social services in such a way that they do not have to fulfil the obligation under § 88 (f) of Act No. 108 / 2006 Coll., on Social Services, as amended;
II. Urges the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Labour and Social Affairs to inform and methodically lead social service providers, regions and the capital of Prague in the provision of social services under point I. of this resolution and to manage the provision of social services for the duration of the emergency situation.
