on the National Labour Commission
The Bureau of the National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic has decided pursuant to Article 60 (2) of the Constitution on the following legal measure:
The National Labour Commission is the central body of the Government which, according to the Government's fundamental guidelines and in agreement with the Central Council of Trade Unions, manages wage policy.
The Government shall appoint and dismiss the President of the State Wage Commission and its other members.
Ministers and other directors of central bodies shall be responsible for the implementation of the wage policy in their field of competence in accordance with the essential guidelines of the Government or the guidelines of the National Labour Commission issued on the basis of the guidelines of the Government. In implementing the wage policy, they are advancing in agreement with the authorities of the Revolutionary Trade Union Movement.
A more detailed definition of the competence of the State Labour Commission shall be laid down in the Statute approved by the Government on a proposal from the State Labour Commission. The government will also further define the responsibilities of ministries and other central government bodies in the wage policy section.
The government wage commission, ministries and other central government bodies issue generally binding wage regulations to safeguard their tasks in managing and implementing wage policies.
Government Regulation No. 27 / 1951 Coll., on the Management of State Labour Policy and the Establishment of a State Labour Commission, as amended by Article IV of the Legislative Decree of the Bureau of the National Assembly No. 60 / 1956 Coll.
This legal measure shall take effect on the date of its publication.
