amending the International Convention on the Carriage of Goods by Rail (CIM) of 25 October 1952 and amending the International Convention on the Carriage of Passengers and Luggage by Rail (CIV) of 25 October 1952
The Minister of Transport orders in agreement with the participating ministers pursuant to § 47 of Act No. 97 / 1950 Coll., on Railways:
On 1 July 1960, the resolutions of experts' and review committees adopted at the Friburg (Switzerland) Conference in March 1959 took effect,
1. amendments to certain provisions of the International Convention on the Carriage of Goods by Rail (CIM) of 25 October 1952 and its Annex VII (International Regulations on the Carriage of Private Carriages - RIP) and Annex VIII (International Regulations on Carriage of Carriages - RICo), *)
2. amendments to certain provisions of the International Convention on the Carriage of Passengers and Luggage by Rail (CIV) of 25 October 1952. *)
The texts of the amendments to the International Convention on the Carriage of Goods by Rail (CIM), the amendments to Annex VII thereto (International Regulations on the Carriage of Private Carriages - RIP) and Annex VIII (International Regulations on the Carriage of Goods by Rail - RICo) and the amendments to the International Convention on the Carriage of Passengers and Travel Luggage by Rail (CIM) will be published in the Tariff Gazette of the Ministry of Transport in the form of corrections to the existing texts of the two Conventions.
This Regulation shall apply from 1 July 1960.

*) The International Convention on the Carriage of Goods by Rail (CIM) and the International Convention on the Carriage of Passengers and Travel Luggage by Rail (CIV) have become effective under the Order of the Minister of Transport No 5 / 1956 Coll. since 1 March 1956.
