Decret of the President of the Republic
of 30 September 1945
on the transitional adjustment of the length of the presentation service.
On the proposal of the Government and in agreement with the Slovak National Council, I establish:
(1) Branches who have a right of home in a municipality in Slovakia and were retired in 1943 or were required in 1943 by regular levy and were or will be charged out of their own guilt in later years are obliged to perform another active service immediately after the end of the regular presentation service (§ 1, paragraph 1 of the Act of 19 December 1934, No. 267 Coll., on the length of the service) for a period of six months.
(2) Branches who have the right to home in a municipality in the Czech or Moravian-Silesian countries, were born in 1921 or 1922 and were taken out in 1945, or will be taken out of their own guilt in later years, are required to carry out an additional active service for one month immediately after the completion of military training of members of the reserve (§ 2, paragraph 1 of Act 267 / 1934 Coll.).
(3) Branches who have the right of home in a municipality in Slovakia were born in 1921 or 1922 and were retired in 1942 or earlier and who have not yet performed a presence service at all, or only partly, without self-fault, shall be transferred into an advance payment and shall be obliged to carry out an additional active service for a period of one month immediately after the completion of the military training of the reserve members.
(4) The additional active service referred to in the preceding paragraphs shall be subject to all the provisions of the regular presentation service.
(5) Branches who have the right to home in a municipality in the Czech or Moravian-Silesian country and were taken away in 1938 and 1939, or in earlier years, and in the former years, and in the former years, and in the former years, who are entitled to home right in a certain village in Slovakia and who have been taken away in 1939 to 1941 or earlier years with a designated presence service, shall be translated, unless they have done so at all without any fault, or carried out only partially, into a replacement deposit.
(6) Branches who have the right to home in a municipality in Slovakia were retired in 1941 and 1942 and were designated for service in the "Workers' Corps" and are for permitted relief in the performance of the military obligation on permanent leave, or have already been transferred to an advance payment, shall be transferred to a replacement deposit in which they are obliged to undertake military training of the members of the reserve for a period of five months (§ 2 of Act No 267 / 1934 Coll.).
This Decision shall take effect on the day of its publication; to be carried out by the Minister for National Defence.
