GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 23 May 2018
amending Government Regulation No. 313 / 2010 Coll., on awards awarded by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports
The Government orders pursuant to § 49 (6) of Act No. 218 / 2000 Coll., on budgetary rules and on the amendment of certain related laws (budgetary rules), as amended by Act No. 26 / 2008 Coll.:
Government Decree No. 313 / 2010 Coll., on Awards awarded by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, is amended as follows:
1.
Education, Youth and Sports Awards
(1) The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports may award the following awards:
a) Medal of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports,
b) The Prize of the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports for Excellent Students and Graduates in the Study Programme and for the Exceptions of Students;
c) The plaque of Františka Flamínková,
d) The Milady Paul Prize,
(e) the European language prize Label and the European language teacher award;
f) Award of the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports for the medal placement at the Olympic and Paralympic Games,
g) Award of the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports for the best athletes,
h) Award of the most successful athletes of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports,
(i) The Prize of the Minister for Education, Youth and Sports "Fair Play,"
j) The Prize of the Minister for Education, Youth and Sports for Working with Children and Youth,
k) The Minister for Education, Youth and Sports "Talent,"
l) Medal of J. A. Komenský National Education Museum and Library of J. A. Komenský in Prague,
m) Medal by Pitter of the National Educational Museum and J. A. Komenský Library in Prague.
(2) The Czech School Inspection Centre can award the Medal of the Czech School Inspection "For Merit on the Development of Quality Education."
2. Paragraph 2 (2) reads as follows:
"(2) The awards referred to in paragraph 1 shall constitute a diploma and a silver medal at first instance and a diploma and a bronze medal at second stage. ';
3. In Paragraph 3 (2), the amount "CZK 25,000 'is replaced by" CZK 50,000'.

Plate of Františka Flamínková
(1) Plate of Františka The Flamingos are awarded to a natural person for his bravery in the fight against evil and hatred and his moral and sense of justice. It appreciates the decisive action in the difficult and difficult situation in which these human characteristics have manifested themselves.
(2) The award referred to in paragraph 1 shall consist of a diploma and a plaque. ';
5. Paragraph 5 (2) reads as follows:
"(2) The awards referred to in paragraph 1 shall consist of a diploma and a cash award of up to CZK 250,000. Only one such valuation may be granted in a calendar year. ';

Award of the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports for the medal placement at the Olympic and Paralympic Games
(1) The award of the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports for the medal placement at the Olympic and Paralympic Games is awarded to an athlete for the medal placement at the Olympic or Paralympic Games.
(2) The awards referred to in paragraph 1 shall consist of a substantive or monetary valuation taking into account the localisation of an athlete in Olympic or Paralympic games. The value of the individual award must not exceed CZK 2,500,000. "
7. Article 8 shall be deleted, including the title.

Award of Minister of Education, Youth and Sports for the best athletes
(1) The award of the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports for the best athletes is awarded to the athlete for an excellent result in an important international sport competition, for exceptional sporting performance or for excellent representation of the Czech Republic.
(2) The valuation referred to in paragraph 1 shall constitute a cash or material valuation of up to CZK 100,000. The amount of the award awarded shall take into account the locality of the athlete or the importance of exceptional sporting performance or representation. The sum of the values of these awards awarded in one calendar year may not exceed CZK 2 000 000. "
9. The following Section 9a is inserted after Section 9, including the title:
Award of the most successful athletes of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports
(1) The award of the most successful athletes of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports is awarded to the most successful athletes of the academic representation of the Czech Republic.
(2) The valuation referred to in paragraph 1 shall constitute a cash or material valuation of up to CZK 35,000. The amount of the awarded award shall take into account the medal placement of the athlete or the importance of exceptional sporting performance. The sum of the values of these awards awarded in one calendar year may not exceed CZK 1,500,000. "
10. In Paragraph 10 (2), the amount "CZK 5,000" is replaced by "CZK 6,000" and the amount "CZK 150,000" is replaced by "CZK 200,000."
11. The following Sections 10a to 10e are inserted after Section 10, including the headings:
Prize of Minister for Education, Youth and Sports for Working with Children and Youth
(1) The Prize of the Minister for Education, Youth and Sports for Working with Children and Youth is awarded to a natural person, legal person or group of natural persons for a significant long-term activity with children and youth in the field of interest education, the use of leisure or sport and sports.
(2) The price referred to in paragraph 1 is a material award of up to CZK 20,000. The sum of the values of these awards awarded in one calendar year may not exceed CZK 500,000.
"Talent"
(1) The Prize of the Minister for Education, Youth and Sports "Talent" is awarded to a student or student under 21 years of age for an exceptional and excellent result in particular in the technical or natural sciences or in a major international competition.
(2) The award referred to in paragraph 1 shall consist of a diploma and other monetary or material awards of up to CZK 50 000. The amount of the valuation shall take into account the importance of the exceptional result in terms of the field concerned. The sum of the values of these awards awarded in one calendar year may not exceed CZK 500,000.
Medal of J. A. Comenius National Educational Museum and Library of J. A. Komenský in Prague
(1) The J. A. Komenský Medal of the National Educational Museum and the J. A. Komenský Library in Prague is awarded to a natural or legal person or group of natural persons for an important educational, educational or scientific activity carried out in the field of the dissemination of J. A. Komenski's legacy or for an extremely valuable act for education and education in the spirit of J. A. Komenský's principles in the Czech Republic or abroad. A natural person may also be awarded a medal on the occasion of a life or working anniversary for the long-term outstanding results of scientific work in the fields of commeniology, history, history of education and pedagogy, which will significantly enhance cultural values in the field of education.
(2) The award referred to in paragraph 1 shall consist of a diploma and medals.
Medals by Pitter National Educational Museum and J. A. Komenský Library in Prague
(1) The Medal of Premysl Pitter of the National Educational Museum and the library of J. A. Komenský in Prague is awarded to an important domestic or foreign natural or legal person who has been responsible for improving relations between people and nations in the spirit of humanistic legacy of Reichle Pitter and has contributed to the development of spiritual values which he contains and to which he is directed.
(2) The award referred to in paragraph 1 shall consist of a diploma and medals.
Czech School Inspection Medal "For Merit on the Development of Quality Education"
(1) The Czech School Inspection Medal "For Merit in the Development of Quality Education" is awarded to a natural or legal person for a long-term and valuable activity in the field of the development of Quality Education in the Czech Republic.
(2) The awards referred to in paragraph 1 shall consist of a diploma and medals. "
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on the 15th day following its publication.
