CONSTRUCTION LAW
of 26 June 1968
on the end of the term of office of the National Committees, the National Assembly and the Slovak National Council
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic decided on the following constitutional law:
(1) The term of election of the national committees, the National Assembly and the Slovak National Council ends on the day of the general election to these representative corps. The elections will be held by the end of 1969 at the latest.
(2) If, for any reason, the post of representative of the Assembly is vacant, there is no need to hold supplementary elections before the general election to the College is held.
Paragraph 1 of Constitutional Law No. 112 / 1967 Coll., on the end of the term of office of the National Assembly, the Slovak National Council, the Supreme Court, Regional, District and Military Courts, is hereby repealed.
This constitutional law shall take effect on 1 July 1968.
