Decret of the President of the Republic
of 30 September 1945
on the arrangements for the defence of persons called upon and those voluntarily entered into active service.
On the proposal of the Government and in agreement with the Slovak National Council, I establish:
Persons who were not military persons in reserve, in replacement and on permanent leave and who held or served in the Czechoslovak army abroad, in the 1st Czechoslovak army in Slovakia and in the Partisan troops, if not carried out, should be deemed to have been carried out on the date of entry into the relevant military or partisan department.
Persons who were not military persons in the reserve, reserve and on permanent leave and who, according to the mobilization decrees of national committees or other headquarters in the Czech and Moravian-Silesian countries, have been called into active service and have actually entered it, should be regarded as members of the armed authority on the day of presentation (taking up active service) and their service during the period of war is considered to be a military service within the meaning of the provisions of § 28, paragraph 1, (b) of the Law of Defence.
Persons who were not military persons in reserve, replacement and on permanent leave and who, under the mobilization decree of the Minister of Defence, were called up to active service in Slovakia and actually joined it, should be deemed to have been paid in accordance with the provisions of § 28, par. 1, par. (c) and (d) of the Defence Act, on the date of presentation (starting the active service).
This Decision shall take effect on the day of its publication; to be carried out by the Minister for National Defence.
