GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 12 March 2003
fixing the rate of the import duty applicable to pigmeat originating in the Republic of Poland to the Czech Republic
The Government mandates pursuant to Section 5 of Act No. 62 / 2000 Coll., on certain arrangements for the export or import of products and on licensing and amending certain laws:
For goods under subheading 0203 11 10 - (1) The rate of import duty fixed by the customs tariff shall apply to domestic swine, as specified in the Customs Tariff, (1) originating in the Republic of Poland, and the preferential duty fixed for the Contracting States of the Central European Free Trade Agreement (1a) concluded between the Czech Republic, the Republic of Hungary, the Republic of Poland and the Slovak Republic shall not apply.
Religious goods originating in the Republic of Poland shall be understood as goods covered by special legislation2) or international contracts .3)
(1) This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
(2) This Regulation shall expire on 31 December 2003.

1) Government Decree No. 534 / 2002 Coll., on the issue of the Customs Tariff and on the fixing of import duty rates for goods originating in developing and least developed countries and the conditions for their application (Customs Tariff).
1a) Central European Free Trade Agreement concluded between the Czech Republic, the Republic of Hungary, the Republic of Poland and the Slovak Republic, published under No 54 / 1995 Coll., as amended. Protocol 5 to the CEFTA Agreement on the exchange of agricultural concessions between the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic, of the one part, and the Republic of Poland, of the other part.
2) § 59 to 63 of Act No. 13 / 1993 Coll., Customs Act.
3) For example, the Central European Free Trade Agreement concluded between the Czech Republic, the Republic of Hungary, the Republic of Poland and the Slovak Republic, published under No 54 / 1995 Coll., as amended.
