Constitutional Law
of 16 September 1953
on the governance of national committees by the Government.
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on the following constitutional law:
§ 1.
In order to deepen the construction of socialism, it is necessary to ensure uniform implementation of the tasks of government in all regions, districts and municipalities, thereby applying the will of the working people of Czechoslovakia, expressed in the laws, regulations and resolutions of the Government of the Czechoslovak Republic and in the guidelines and directives issued by the Ministers for their implementation.
General management of national committees is excluded from the responsibility of the Minister of Interior and national committees are subject directly to the Government of the Czechoslovak Republic.
§ 2.
This constitutional law shall take effect on the day of its publication; it shall be carried out by all members of the Government.
