of 22 February 1957
about military paramedics.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic orders according to § 4 paragraph 1 of Act No. 170 / 1950 Coll., on health professions:
(1) In the Czechoslovak armed forces, a military medical officer is hereby established.
(2) The role of military medical practitioner in preventive and medical care may be performed by persons who have completed 11 years of secondary school and military medical training. The role of a military medical practitioner for the field of pharmacy may be performed by persons who have attended a medical school, by a medical laboratory technician, according to a curriculum established by the Ministry of Health and supplemented by an agreement with the Ministry of National Defence.
(3) During the war, veterinary surgeons who have received adequate training in the Czechoslovak armed forces, focused on the tasks of the medical service during the war, and mid-level health workers of the state health administration after military training.
(1) The task of military medical professionals in the field of preventive and medical care is to cooperate in the exercise of uniform, effective and valuable human health care to the extent provided for by the Ministry of National Defence in agreement with the ministries of the Interior and Health, and to continuously increase the health standards and health awareness of soldiers.
(2) Military medical professionals in the field of pharmacy carry out the work referred to in Section 10 of Decree-Law No 77 / 1951 Coll., on medium-sized health workers, and provide for the supply of the units for which they are designated with medical material.
(3) Military medical professionals are primarily governed at work by the provisions of Act No. 170 / 1950 Coll., on Medical Professions, and by the applicable military regulations.
A military medical practitioner leaving an active military service may, upon request, be included as a central medical professional in a public health administration facility under applicable labour and salary regulations and on the basis of conditions to be laid down by the Minister for Health in an agreement with the Minister for National Defence.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication; they shall be carried out by national defence, interior and health ministers.
