on the unambiguous marking identifying the firearm transferring entity to permanent civilian use
The Government hereby orders the implementation of Section 42a (2) of Act No. 119 / 2002 Coll., on Firearms and Ammo (Act on Weapons), as amended by Act No. 13 / 2021 Coll.:
Subject matter
This Regulation lays down rules for the creation of a unique designation identifying a firearm transferring entity pursuant to Section 42a of the Arms Act (hereinafter referred to as "the unambiguous designation ').
Form of the unique label
(1) The unique designation is an abbreviation of a firearm transfer entity which immediately follows without a gap the year of such transfer.
(2) Absence of the firearm transferring entity
(a) represents, in the case of a municipality, the text "CZ" followed immediately without a gap by the postal code of the address from which the firearm is transferred or, where applicable, by the municipal office;
(b) in the case of the armed forces or corps of another State, represents the two-digit alphabetic code of the country code list (CZEM) 1 of the Czech Statistical Office; or
(c) lay down the Annex to this Regulation in the case of bodies other than those referred to in (a) or (b).
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 March 2021.
