DECLARATION
of 10 March 2003
on the termination of coins after 10 halves of model 1993 and 20 halves of model 1993
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (d) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
(1) On 31 October 2003 the validity of coins of 10 pennies of model 19931 and 20 pennies of model 1993.2 is hereby terminated)
(2) The coins referred to in paragraph 1 shall be exchanged between 1 November 2003 and 31 October 2004 by all the banks (3) carrying out treasury operations, from 1 November 2004 to 31 October 2009 only by the Czech National Bank (4) under the conditions laid down in this Decree and in specific legislation. 5)
(3) The exchange can be made at the banks' and České národní banka cash register or by deposit in an account held with the relevant bank, 3) or at the České národní banky (4).
(4) The amount submitted for cash exchange, expressed in pennies, must be divisible by 50 in full. Coins which exceed that amount shall not be exchanged. When the coins are deposited into an account, the amount is credited in full.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 April 2003.
