DECLARATION
Slovak Commission for Scientific Aspects
of 22 July 1974
amending and supplementing Decree No. 198 / 1964 of the State Commission for Scientific Aspects Coll., on the Management of the Award of Scientific Aspects
The Slovak Science Commission provides in agreement with the Slovak Academy of Sciences, the Federal Ministry of Technical and Investment Development and the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Socialist Republic pursuant to § 12 (3) of Act No. 53 / 1964 Coll., on the award of scientific degrees and on the State Commission for Scientific Positions:
The Decree of the State Commission for Scientific Aspects No. 198 / 1964 Coll., as amended by the Decree of the Slovak Commission for Scientific Aspects No. 174 / 1973 Coll., on the management of the award of scientific degrees, is amended as follows:
1. the heading of Part Six shall read:
"NOTIFICATION AND RECOGNITION OF SCIENTIFIC EVALUATIONS AND TESTS"
2. In Paragraph 43, the following paragraph 3 is added:
"(3) Scientific degrees obtained in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics are recognised in the Slovak Socialist Republic and are equivalent to the corresponding scientific degrees awarded in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic."
3. The following Section 43a is inserted after Section 43:
Diplomas on the scientific values awarded in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics shall be valid in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic by issuing a verification clause of the Slovak Commission for Scientific Aspects in accordance with the model set out in the Annex to this Decree. '
This Decree shall take effect on 1 September 1974.
