Decree of the Minister of Finance
of 10 October 1951
on the stamping and release of aluminum twenties.
The Minister of Finance provides, pursuant to Article 3 of Act No. 39 / 1948 Coll., on the tender of the Czechoslovak currency:
§ 1.
(1) Coins of the Czechoslovak currency are issued after 20 hours of aluminium. A kilogram of metal is cut into 2,000 pieces. The coin diameter is 16 mm. In the case of stamping, a deviation up and down 4 / 100 in weight is permitted.
(2) The figure of the Czechoslovak Republic is on the face of the twenty-year-old, around it the inscription "REPUBLIC OF CZECHOSLOVSKÁ" in one row with a small decoration as an end and an annual stroke.
(3) On the reverse of the twenty-year-old, there is a snop of ears with August grazed into it and a lime branch, wrapped in a ribbon and a value designation of "20." On the bottom right is the name of the author "O. SPANIEL."
§ 2.
(1) The State Bank of Czechoslovakia will start to circulate the 20-year-old aluminium smelters on the day of the publication of this decree.
(2) The current coins for 20 hours remain in circulation as legal tender.
§ 3.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
