amending and supplementing the law on the regulation of the holiday law.
The Constitutional National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on this law:
The Act of 20 December 1946, No 248 Coll., on the adaptation of the feast law, is amended as follows:
1.
"The public holidays are: New Year (1 January), St. Three Kings (6 January), Good Friday, Monday Easter, Ascension of the Lord, Month of the Holy Body, St. Apostle Peter and Paul (29 June), Ascension of the Virgin Mary (15 August), All Saints (1 November), Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary (8 December), Holy Ghost (25 December) and Second Christmas Day (26 December)."
2. Paragraph 3, paragraph 3, first sentence:
"As long as the economic interests of the State so require and the end of which the government provides for by regulation, the provisions on Sundays do not apply to these statestically recognized holidays and memorable days of the Czechoslovak Republic, if applicable on a weekday basis: the Holy Three Kings, Good Friday, the Ascension of the Lord, the Body of God, the Apostle of Peter and Paul, the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, the Immaculate Number of the Virgin Mary, 7 March and 28 September."
3. Paragraph 4 is added as new paragraph 4 of the provision of the following text:
"(4) Compensation for the loss of earnings referred to in paragraph 1 shall also not be granted to those staff members who, without sufficient cause or apology, have missed a working shift (or part of it), which takes place in the framework of the applicable rules on some of the days referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2, if they fall on a different day than Sunday. ';

"(1) Domestic workers and their counterparts to domestic traders and domestic workers shall be entitled, for each day referred to in Sections 1 and 2, to 1% of the remuneration obtained in the last immediately preceding 4 calendar months, if it falls on a non-Sunday basis."
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication; It shall be implemented by the Home Affairs and Social Welfare Ministers in agreement with participating members of the Government.
