Decree of the Minister of Finance
of 21 May 1947
on stamping and issuing two crowns.
According to Section 3 of the Order of the President of the Republic of 19 October 1945, No 91 Coll., on the renewal of the Czechoslovak currency, I shall determine:
§ 1.
(1) Small coins of Czechoslovak currency after 2 CZK are rolled from a nickel (bronze) bond, mixed in 20 parts of nickel with 80 parts of copper. One kilogram of coin metal is 166.6 pieces of two crowns. The diameter of the double crown is 23.5 mm. In the case of stamping, the deviation up and down is permitted in gross weight and in purity 10 / 1000.
(2) On the cheek of the double crown is the state sign of the Czechoslovak Republic, around it the inscription "REPUBLIC OF CZECHOSLOVSKÁ" in one row and the year of the stamping.
(3) On the back of the double crown is the image of Janošík in the period costume. On the right side of the head is the "2" mark. The sign of the author's "W."
(4) The edge of the coin is engraved; On both sides is a flat frame.
§ 2.
Two crowns will be issued by the National Bank of Czechoslovakia at its main institute in Prague and at the Regional Institute for Slovakia in Bratislava as well as for all its filials on the date of publication of this decree.
§ 3.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
