Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management
of 27 July 1961
on the protection and the time, manner and conditions of hunting of certain species of game
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management provides in an agreement with the Ministry of Education and Culture and after the hearing of the Czechoslovak Hunting Association pursuant to § 24 (7) and (9) of Act No. 225 / 1947 Coll., on hunting and pursuant to § 1 of Act No. 80 / 1948 Coll., which empowers the Minister of Agriculture to take action in agricultural production:
Defending and hunting time
Defence
(1) Throughout the year, the following species of game are defended:
(a) throughout the national territory, cauliflower, otter, mink, marsh, drop large, drop small, grouse and grouse hens, turkey wild, quail, pigeon doves, wild dove, howl, hat, chicken water, all kinds of ducks (except for the species referred to in § 2 (1) (23), collies, seagulls, ramps, walnut, owl, falcon, rapeseed, rapeseed, sheep, sheep, lamb, sheep, sheep, sheep, beech, bullion, lamb, sheep, sheep, sheep, sheep, sheep, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse, horse

(c) only in Slovakia, a squirrel, a field raven and in a chase outside of recognised pheasant pheasants.
(2) The following species of game are not protected:
(a) in the whole national territory, black game (except bass and piglets), wild rabbit, wolf, skewer, weasel, sprat, hawk, sparrow, crow (black and grey), magpie, falcon, boar,
(b) only in the Czech regions,
(c) only in Slovakia, a feature, a cormorant and a small-game fox in hunting.
Fishing time
(1) For the following species of game, the fishing period shall be as follows:
1. deer from 1 September to 31 December,
2. the deer and the goat from 1 September to 31 December,
3. deer sika from 1 October to 15 December,
4. Deer deer deer deer from 1 October to 15 December,
5. tax from 1 October to 30 November,
6. taxes and taxes from 1 October to 31 December;
7. Muflon from 1 October to 31 December,
8. Muflonka and muflonče from 1 October to 31 December,
9th deer from 16 May to 31 August,
10th deer and deer from 1 September to 31 December,
11. Bags of game black from 1 August to 31 December, piglets of game black from 1 August to 15 February,
12th hare from 1 November to 31 December,
13th badger from 1 August to 30 November,
14. fox in Slovakia in mountain areas established by the Regional National Committee from 1 November to 31 January,
15. kuna (silkworm and rocky kuna) from 15 December to the end of February,
16th wild cat in Slovakia from 1 October to end February,
17th wild turkey from March 16th to May 15th,
18. Roosters gutter and gutter from 16 March to 15 May,
19th crane in Slovakia from 16 September to 15 October,
20th pheasant in Czech regions from 1 November to 31 December, in Slovakia in recognised pheasants from 16 November to 31 December and in other hunts from 16 December to 31 December,
21st pheasant hens in Czech regions from 1 December to 31 December, Slovakia in recognised pheasants from 1 December to 31 December,
22. partridge from 16 August to 30 September,
23rd March duck, common deer, blue deer and pollack from 16 August to 30 November,
24th wild geese from 1 October to 31 December,
25th black lyne from 1 August to 30 November,
26. only in Slovakia,
27. forest eel from 16 March to 15 April and from 1 September to 30 November,
28. Bekasin skins from 1 August to 30 November,
29. pigeon and wild dove from 1 August to 15 October,
30 cabs dewy from 1 November to 31 March,
31st field raven in Czech regions from 1 May to 31 May and from 1 December to 31 January,
32nd squirrel in Czech regions from 1 January to 31 January.
(2) If the first day of the fixed fishing time per day closest to the day of work, the hunting time shall be extended by that day of work.
(3) The Regional National Committee may shorten the fishing times provided for in paragraph 1 in the counties and the Regional National Committee, where appropriate, or restrict or prohibit the shooting if proper breeding and protection of animals so requires, in particular when the animal populations have fallen significantly as a result of harmful effects, or when certain species of game are needed to eradicate pests of agricultural crops. This provision on shortening the fishing time and, where appropriate, restrictions and prohibition on shooting shall not apply to state-reserved hunts.
(1) In hunts with very good game conditions, in which fee hunts have been agreed for foreigners through the foreign trade company Čedok, and in state-reserved hunts may be carried out on a rabbit or pheasant since 16 October.
(2) Throughout the year, it is allowed to fish in recognised and maintained pheasants of the horse of the forest and the rock, badger, hedgehog, horse of the forest, horse of the wood, kestrel, owl of the owl, laughing seagulls and wild cat in Slovakia.
(3) Roundnose grenadier may be fished throughout the whole year on board ponds and on elevators from 16 August to 31 October. On other cultivated ponds in the Czech regions, shellfish and cormorant may be fished from 1 August to 30 November.
(4) The Regional National Committee may, at the request of the user, authorise the selection of one or more nests of wild boar. The user of the chase shall retain only one of the holes selected from the nests if he has not yet one; the other branches are required to offer to buy the Czechoslovak Hunting Union.
Fishing methods and conditions and restrictions
Small game blast
(1) The removal of rabbits, partridges and pheasants may only be carried out on common hunts, reported at least 5 days in advance to the Regional National Committee and the Regional Committee of the Czechoslovak Hunting Union. The number of hunts shall be proportionate to the hunting surface, animal status and shooting plan; the number of shooters and hounds involved in each hunt shall be proportionate to the hunting surface, animal status and shoot-out prelim (number of shooting animals for each hunt).
(2) The hares may only be hunted once in field hunting on the same area, in forest hunting no more than twice a year.
(3) Partridges and hares must not be planned and carried out in hunting operations intended to catch partridges into fences and hares into gillnets.
(4) A partridge blast is allowed during a given hunting period only on two hunts a year, usually held on Sunday. The second hunt must not take place on the area where the first hunt took place.
(5) The fishing of pheasants is prohibited in hunts where the shooting of pheasant animals was not planned. Pheasants may be hunted on the same area no more than three times a year.
(6) Fish of fowls of the species Gallus domesticus is prohibited in hunts in which pheasant animals have been newly introduced in the last two years. The release of pheasant hens shall only be carried out in hunts where a minimum of 100 pieces of pheasant game are approved and where the condition of the hens exceeds the prescribed sex ratio; no more than 20% of the intended shot of the pheasant game shall be fired on the pheasant hens. The aggregate number of chicks and cocks shot shall not exceed the approved shot plan.
(7) Wild ducks may be shot on a common hunt, reported at least 5 days in advance to the Regional National Committee and the Regional Committee of the Czechoslovak Hunting Union. On draws, ducks may be shot only on Saturday, not earlier than one hour before sunrise and not later than one hour after sunset; At least 3 shooters shall participate together and shall use at least one hunting-fit dog.
(8) Shootout by shovelling using the dog is forbidden.
Animal capture
(1) The Regional and Regional National Committees and the Regional and Regional Committees of the Czechoslovak Hunting Association are obliged to ensure that the game catch plan is implemented.
(2) In cases where the intended catch of game cannot be carried out for animal health reasons in certain hunting grounds, the district national committee shall amend the schedule for the catch of game to be carried out in such a way that the catch plan in the county is fulfilled. If it is not possible to change the schedule of the catch plan in the county, it shall amend the schedule in the county of the Regional National Committee at the request of the District National Committee. The change of schedule of the game capture plan must be made in time and notified to the Czechoslovak Hunting Union.
(3) The Regional National Committee may, in hunts which have exceptionally high partridge stocks, authorise the users of the hunt after consultation with the Regional Committee of the Czechoslovak Hunting Union to catch an adequate number of partridges outside the originally established catch plan; a copy of the permit will be sent to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water and the Czechoslovak Hunting Union.
Shootout
(1) In the Czech regions, the shooting of breeding deer, i.e. promising young deer and breeding crown deer of adolescents and adults (five years and older) is prohibited. Of crown deer, adults aged nine years and older with a single-sided crown or with short or weak antlers and with short prerogatives in the crown are not considered breeding. The exit of these deer is authorised by the district national committee in the framework of an approved shooting plan (number of such deer must be stated in the plan).
(2) In Slovakia, the shooting of breeding adult (hunting) deer is permitted from 1 October to 31 December.
(3) The hunting of deer with catch is prohibited; However, at the request of the hunting operator, the district national committee may, after consultation with the Czechoslovak Hunting Union district committee, authorise the fishing by force, by one group of up to 3 shooters and 2 honks on the same day and in the same chase using the eligible dog for this hunting. The result of the pressure must be reported to the district national committee within 3 days.
(4) The Czechoslovak Hunting Union carries out annual breeding shows of trophies.
Shots fired
Only crows (black and grey), maggots, cauliflower, soya, hawks and redfish may be fished on the outlines.
Final provisions
Captives
(1) The Czechoslovak Hunting Union shall keep a record of stocks held in captivity. The breeders are obliged to report to the Czechoslovak Hunting Association all the owls they hold in captivity. The Czechoslovak Hunting Union gives them a record sheet and metal rings; without such registration sheets and metal rings, the breeding of eggs in captivity is not permitted.
(2) The death or other loss of a captive stock is required by the breeder to report to the Czechoslovak Hunting Association.
(3) The sale and purchase of captive holdings can only be carried out through the Czechoslovak Hunting Association.
Repeal
Decree No 136 / 1957 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry No 136 / 1957 of the Ú. l., on the defence and on the time, manner and conditions of hunting of certain species of game, as amended by Decree No 157 / 1959 of the Ú. l. and Decree of the Agriculture and Forestry Officer No 85 / 1959 of the Ú. v., on the time, manner and conditions of hunting of certain species of game, as amended by Decree No 252 / 1959 of the Ú. v.
Efficacy
This decree shall take effect on 1 August 1961.
