THE LAW
of 22 June 1976
on the stamping of Czechoslovak ducats
The Federal Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic decided on this law:
§ 1
In the memory of events of state or world importance, or on their anniversary, Czechoslovak ducats ("ducats') may be minted as commercial coins.
§ 2
Doats are rolled like simple, double ducats, five ducats and ten ducats of alloy containing 9861 / 9 parts of gold and 138 / 9 parts of copper. The gross weight of the simplicity is 3,4909 g with a pure gold content of 3,4420 g. The weights of two-ducats, five-ducats and ten-ducats are multiple of the weight of the simple. In the case of stamping, a tolerance of not more than one thousand above or below the specified gross weight and purity shall be allowed.
§ 3
(1) On the front of the ducate is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the name of the state of the CZECHOSLOVAK SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC. The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic provides for further requirements of the front and back parties.
(2) The diameter is 19,75 mm, 25 mm double ducate, 34 mm five ducate and 42 mm 10 ducate. The edges of the ducats are finely serrated.
§ 4
They're not part of the legal money system.
§ 5
The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic shall determine the stamping of ducats and their description by a regulation; At the same time, for each type of ducats, it shall determine the number of minted simplifications, duplicates, five ducats and ten ducats.
§ 6
The following shall be deleted:
(a) Act No. 62 / 1923 Coll., on the stamping of Czechoslovak ducats;
(b) Government Decree No. 200 / 1923 Coll., on the issue of Czechoslovak ducats of jubilee and other (ordinary) ducats of simple and double (commemorative double ducats) with the year 1923;
(c) Government Regulation (II) No 94 / 1929 Coll., on Czechoslovak five ducats and ten ducats;
(d) Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 135 / 1924 Coll., on the stamping of Czechoslovak ducats for private account;
e) Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 95 / 1929 Coll., on the stamping fee for Czechoslovak five ducats and ten ducats.
§ 7
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
