DECLARATION
Minister for Foreign Trade
of 18 September 1972
on the designation of Fincom, a public limited company for foreign trade, to carry out certain foreign trade activities
The Foreign Trade Minister shall, in an agreement with the Minister of Finance of the CSSR pursuant to § 2 (2) and § 20 of Act No. 119 / 1948 Coll., on the State Organisation of Foreign Trade and International Shipbuilding, and § 38 (1) (b) of the Act No. 133 / 1970 Coll., on the jurisdiction of federal ministries:
§ 1
Fincom, a joint-stock company for foreign trade based in Prague (hereinafter referred to as "the company"), established pursuant to Act No 243 / 1949 Coll. and for which a state authorisation was granted by decision of the Minister for Foreign Trade of 11 December 1968 No 2306 / 68 - SM, is intended to conduct foreign trade activities within the scope of Section 2.
§ 2
(1) The company's foreign business includes:
(a) establishment and management (including ownership) of holdings in business abroad (financial, commercial and manufacturing) carried out by different forms, whether directly or on behalf of Czechoslovak participants, when exporting investment entities, machinery and equipment as well as in the provision of sources of raw materials, semi-finished products and import products, all in cooperation with the relevant external trade organisations and according to the relevant regulations, *)
(b) contribute to the performance of the tasks of the sub-committees (a) by pooling the funds and activities of the participating Czechoslovak organisations according to the relevant regulations, * *)
(c) carrying out review, control and advisory services to promote foreign trade;
(d) the implementation of financial legal services with the consent of the Czechoslovak State Bank and in cooperation with the Czechoslovak Commercial Bank, with the exception of services reserved to foreign exchange banks and foreign exchange locations within the meaning of the Foreign Exchange Economic Code;
(e) performing other tasks to promote and develop Czechoslovak foreign trade under the authority of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Trade.
(2) The company is entitled to carry out all activities related to its business.
(3) The definition of foreign trade activities is set out in detail by the Foreign Trade Minister by a special measure published in the Bulletin of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Trade.
§ 3
(1) The company is under the jurisdiction of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Trade.
(2) The company's activities under this Decree are subject to the rules applicable to the conduct of foreign trade.
§ 4
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
