DECLARATION
Minister for Finance
of 7 July 1967
on the issue of commemorative silver ten crowns for the 500th anniversary of the founding of the University of Bratislava
The Minister of Finance declares pursuant to § 2 (2) of Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
For the 500th anniversary of the founding of the University of Bratislava, commemorative silver ten crowns are issued.
The silver 10korons are raided by an alloy of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc. The gross weight of the 10 crown is 12 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down shall be allowed in gross weight 10 / 1000 and in silver content 5 / 1000. The diameter of the 10-crown is 30 mm, its edge is smooth with the repetitive ornament of the diamond-wave, which is made by the mould.
(1) On the face of the commemorative silver ten crown is the State emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, underneath it the outline of the Bratislava Castle on the first of the three hills at the foot of the Little Carpathians above the waves of the Danube. The inscription "CZECH SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC" is placed around the circle, the designation of the value "10" is in the middle of the bottom.
(2) On the back of the commemorative silver ten crown, the facade of the building of the first Bratislava University of Academia Istropolitana is shown in the middle, which is partially covered on the bottom left with the seal of Bratislava. The seal contains the legend "SIGILLUM CIVITATIS BRATISLAVENSIS." Above the building is 1467, below the building 1967. The inscription "ACADEMIA ISROPOLIANA" is placed around the circle. The design of the silver commemorative ten crown is the work of academic sculptor Zdeněk Kolářský; His name "ROLLING" is placed under the building on the right.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
