DECLARATION

of 20 February 2008

on the publication of the National Nature Reserve Hádek planinka and establishing its closer protection conditions

The Ministry of the Environment provides pursuant to § 79 (3) (b) of Act No. 114 / 1992 Coll., on Nature and Landscape Conservation, as amended by Act No. 218 / 2004 Coll., (hereinafter referred to as "the Act") and for the implementation of § 28 (1) of the Act:

§ 1

Subject matter

(1) The Hádec plazka National Nature Reserve (hereinafter referred to as the "National Nature Reserve") is hereby declared.

(2) The object of special protection is a conservation, species-rich complex of natural doubras and beech doubras in the Háda karst platform in the southern part of the Moravian Karst, with the occurrence of a number of rare and endangered species of plants and animals. A set of surface and underground karst phenomena is also the subject of special protection.

§ 2

Definition of the national nature reserve

The national nature reserve is situated in the territory of the South Moravian Region in the cadastral territories of Kanika and Malomerice. The national nature reserve boundaries shall be determined by closed geometric patterns with direct sides whose vertices are determined by the coordinates of the single trigonometric network system of the cadastral1). The list of coordinates of the vertices of geometric patterns, as they follow, is given in Annex 1 to this decree. An indicative graphical representation of the territory of the national nature reserve is given in Annex 2 to this decree.

§ 3

Closer protection conditions

Only with the consent of the competent nature conservation authority can the national nature reserve

(a) make changes to the type of land or the way in which it is used (2);

(b) establish hunting equipment;

c) conduct research activities in underground areas and cave portals.

§ 4

Efficacy

This Decree shall take effect on 1 April 2008.
