DECLARATION
Minister of Justice of the Czech Socialist Republic
of 15 July 1974
determining to settle disputes concerning international carriage of goods within the territory of the capital city of Prague district court for Prague 2
The Minister of Justice of the Czech Socialist Republic provides, pursuant to § 33 paragraph 4 of Act No. 36 / 1964 Coll., on the organisation of courts and on the election of judges, as published under No. 19 / 1970 Coll.:
(1) The disputes arising from transport contracts relating to the import or export of goods or relating to transit traffic [Paragraph 2 (2) (a) of Act No. 121 / 1962 Coll., on economic arbitrage] are dealt with by the District Court for Prague 2, where a local district court in the territory of the capital of Prague is responsible for the proceedings.
(2) The District Court for Prague 2 shall also settle disputes concerning the claims for insurance of goods carried under transport contracts referred to in paragraph 1, if they fall within the jurisdiction of the courts and if they have a local jurisdiction in the territory of the capital of Prague.
In cases brought before the date of application of this Order, the jurisdiction of the court shall not be changed.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 September 1974.
