DECLARATION
Ministry of Education and Culture
of 21 March 1964
supplementing the decree laying down the conditions for the performance of theatre artists from the profession in non-theatre performances and the decree providing for compulsory mediation for certain fields of artistic activity
The Ministry of Education and Culture provides in the agreement with the State Planning Commission and with the Ministry of Finance pursuant to § 15 (3) of Act No. 55 / 1957 Coll., on theatrical activities, under § 6 (3) and § 15 of Act No. 81 / 1957 Coll., on concert and other musical activities, and under § 7 (3) and § 14 of Act No. 82 / 1957 Coll., on estrates, artistic productions and folk entertainment:
Decree No 71 / 1958 of the Ú. l, laying down the conditions for the performance of professional theatre artists in non-theatre performances, as amended by Decree No 196 / 1958 Ú. l, is hereby amended as follows:
Paragraph 2 is renumbered paragraph 1 and the following paragraph is added:
"(2) The compulsory mediation referred to in paragraph 1 shall not apply to performances of sets of theatre artists in public productions organised by the Czechoslovak Radio or Czechoslovak Television for broadcasting purposes."
Decree No 89 / 1958 Ú. l, which provides for compulsory mediation for certain fields of artistic activity, is amended as follows:
1. Paragraph 1 is renumbered paragraph 1 and the following paragraph is added:
"(2) The compulsory mediation referred to in paragraph 1 shall not be subject only to the performance of professional musicians, enterprising artists and artists in public productions organised by the Czechoslovak Radio or Czechoslovak Television for broadcasting purposes. ';
2. Paragraph 2 (2) shall be amended and read as follows:
"(2) Organizers of public regularly repeated show productions in socialist companies in the field of hospitality, spa care and tourism are obliged to arrange performances of the entertainers during these productions only through the organization" Czechoslovak Music and Theatre Agency - Pragosto Concert "in Prague, Slovakia" Concert and Theatre Office "in Bratislava; organizers of the same artistic production are obliged to negotiate performances of artists during these productions only through the organization" Czechoslovak circuses and varieties "in Prague. In individual cases, those organisations may agree with the local regional enterprise for film, concerts and estates on a different mediation arrangement, if the reasons for the programme or operational arrangements so require. '
This decree does not apply to the mediation of foreign artists.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
