about advertising in print
The Ministry of Education and Culture shall, in agreement with the Ministry of Finance, the Central Office of State Control and Statistics and with the other participating central authorities and authorities and after consulting the State Planning Commission pursuant to Section 1 of Act No. 272 / 1949 Coll., on the management of production and distribution in the field of competence of the Minister of Information and Information, and pursuant to Section 5 of Act No. 60 / 1959 Coll., on the scope of planning, pricing and control:
The concept of advertising in print
The advertising in the press shall be any notice paid in any text or graphic form published in magazines, non-periodic publications and other printed matter (hereinafter referred to as advertising).
Scope of advertising
(1) In daily Central, Regional and Regional periodical printing, advertising may reach 1 / 6 of the total weekly range. in a single number it shall not exceed 1 / 4 of the range of the number.
(2) In other periodical printing, advertising can reach up to 1 / 5 of the total size of the individual number.
(3) A higher range of advertisements than those referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 is permitted only if the relevant number of periodical printing is increased by this larger range of advertisements; the extension of the size of the number shall comply with the printing regulations.
(4) The limitation of the scope of the advertisements referred to in paragraphs 1 to 3 shall not apply to the printing of state and commercial advertising intended for foreign purposes and to printed matter intended exclusively for advertisements of foreign advertisers in the country.
(5) Attachments, envelopes and covers, constituting a uniform organic whole, shall also be included in the total printed matter.
(6) The embedded information or promotional printed matter and the publisher's own announcement shall not be included in the advertising scope.
Final provisions
The acquisition of advertising by private intermediaries for remuneration is not allowed.

This decree shall take effect on 1 October 1962.
