Decree of the Minister of Finance
of 6 May 1947
on the withdrawal of certain small coins of the Czechoslovak currency.
According to Section 3 of the Order of the President of the Republic of 19 October 1945, No 91 Coll., on the renewal of the Czechoslovak currency, I shall determine:
§ 1.
Small coins of the Czechoslovak currency, namely crowns and five crowns issued by 1939 and coins of the same values issued in Slovakia by 1944, will cease to be legal tender on 31 May 1947.
§ 2.
From 1 June 1947 to 30 June 1947, all the offices of the Czechoslovak National Bank and all the post offices will exchange the coins listed in § 1 at their cash registers. After 30 June 1947, any exchange of these coins shall be excluded.
§ 3.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
