Decree of the Minister of Finance
of 17 April 1946
on stamping and issue of coins after 1 CZK.
According to Section 3 of the Order of the President of the Republic of 19 October 1945, No. 91 Coll., on the renewal of the Czechoslovak currency, I declare:
§ 1.
(1) Small coins of the Czechoslovak currency after 1 Kcs are rolled from a nickel (bronze) chain, mixed in 20 parts of nickel with 80 parts of copper. From a kilogram of coin metal there are 222 pieces of crowns. The diameter of the crown coin is 21 mm. During stamping, the deviation up and down is allowed in gross weight 20 / 1000 and in purity 10 / 1000.
(2) On the face of the crown coin is a small state emblem of the Czechoslovak Republic, around it the inscription "REPUBLIC OF CZECHOSLOVSKÁ" in one line with two stars, among which is the year of embossing.
(3) On the back of the crown coin is a picture of a kneeling woman who holds on the left a snop of ears with August and wipes off sweat with her forehead; next to it is a small branch of lime and "1." Under the painting is the name of the author "O. SPANIEL."
(4) The edge of the coin is engraved; On both sides is a flat frame.
§ 2.
(1) Coins after 1 Kès will be issued by the National Bank of Czechoslovakia at its main institute in Prague and at the Regional Institute for Slovakia in Bratislava as well as at all its filials on the date of publication of this decree.
(2) Until now, the crown coins remain in circulation as legal tender.
§ 3.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
