THE LAW
of 8 July 1970
concerning certain measures relating to the company register
The Federal Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic decided on this law:
§ 1
(1) Organisations which are registered may acquire rights and undertake obligations from the date of registration. This provision does not apply to organisations established pursuant to Act No. 119 / 1948 Coll., on State organisation of foreign trade and international mail.
(2) The date of registration shall be the date on which registration in the company register was authorised by order of the court responsible to keep the company register (the register court), unless a later date is specified in the establishment list.
§ 2
In addition to the organisations provided for in the current legislation, national committees which conduct business in their small establishments shall also be entered in the company register. The minutes shall indicate only the designation of the competent national committee, its head office and the subject matter of the activities of small establishments set up by it. The activity of a small establishment may only commence from the date of registration in the company register.
§ 3
(1) In the case of folk cooperatives, cooperative agricultural organisations and joint cooperatives, associations of cooperatives, cooperative undertakings, as well as undertakings and economic establishments of social organisations, the business register shall also include the subject matter of the business as defined in the instrument of incorporation, statute, statutes, contract or other legal act establishing the activity of the organisation.
(2) The object of the activity is also registered in the company register for organisations formed under the association contract; *) the name and registered office of the member organisations and the shares of members are also registered for these organisations.
§ 4
For organisations for which the subject-matter of the activity or other facts are entered in the company register under Articles 2 and 3 of this Act, amendments or termination of these facts shall also be entered; the changed activity may be started and acquired by organisations and undertaken only from the date of registration of the change.
§ 5
(1) The provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure apply to corporate proceedings; its provisions on order-order measures shall be applied even where the request of the Registry Court is not followed.
(2) In the proceedings for authorisation of registration, the Registry Court shall examine whether the conditions for carrying out the registration required by the legislation are fulfilled, in particular whether the subject matter of the activity or changes thereto are in conformity with an authorisation approved or issued by the competent authority and whether consent has also been given, if necessary under specific rules.
(3) The Registry Court shall notify the competent national authority of the tax and levy administration and the competent authority of the national statistics of the entries of the organisations, their activities and the activities of the small establishments of the national committees, as well as the changes and termination of these events.
§ 6
(1) An organisation already registered in a company register for which an obligation to register the subject-matter of an activity is laid down shall submit an application for registration to the registry court no later than three months after the validity of this law.
(2) An organisation not yet registered referred to in Paragraph 3 (2) shall also submit a proposal for the relevant entries within the time limit referred to in the preceding paragraph. Within the same period, the national committees shall also submit draft minutes concerning small establishments established before the application of this law.
(3) If the applications for registration referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 are not submitted within the time limit set, the organisations or small establishments of the national committees may not continue to operate until such time as the registration is carried out.
§ 7

This Act shall take effect on 1 August 1970.
