Decree of the Minister of Finance
of 10 August 1951
on embossing and issuing of aluminum fifties.
The Minister of Finance provides, pursuant to Article 3 of Act No. 39 / 1948 Coll., on the tender of the Czechoslovak currency:
§ 1.
(1) Coins of Czechoslovak currency are issued for 50 h of aluminium. From a kilogram of metal, 1,500 pieces are taken. The coin diameter is 18 mm. In the case of stamping, a deviation up and down 4 / 100 in weight is permitted.
(2) On the face of the 50th century there is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Republic, around it the inscription "REPUBLIC OF CZESKOSLOVSKÁ" in two rows with a small decoration as the end and the year of the stamping.
(3) On the back of the 50th, there are two rows of ears with two lip branches wrapped in ribbons, and between them on top is the value marking "50." On the bottom right is the name of the author "O. Spaniel."
(4) The edge of the coin is smooth; There's a flat frame on both sides.
§ 2.
(1) The State Bank of Czechoslovakia will start to circulate the 50-year-olds of aluminium on the day of the publication of this decree.
(2) The current 50-hour coins remain in circulation as legal tender.
§ 3.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
