ORDER
GOVERNMENTS OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC
of 12 March 2020
on the adoption of crisis measures
Following the Government Resolution 194 of 12 March 2020, the Government, in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of Constitutional Act No. 110 / 1998 Coll., on the Security of the Czech Republic, declared emergency in accordance with Article 5 and Article 5 (a) to (e) and § 6 of the Act No. 240 / 2000 Coll., on emergency management and on the amendment of certain laws (Crisis Act), as amended, for the resolution of the crisis situation, the adoption of emergency measures, by virtue of Article 6 (1) (b) of the Crisis Act.
Government
I. orders with effect from 14 March 2020
1. an entry ban for all foreigners coming from risk areas, with the exception of foreigners residing with a temporary stay of more than 90 days or permanent residence in the Czech Republic; This does not apply if the entry of these foreigners is in the interest of the Czech Republic,
2. stop receiving visa applications and temporary and permanent stays at representative offices of the Czech Republic; This does not apply to persons whose stay is in the interests of the Czech Republic,
3. Suspension of proceedings in the case of applications for short-stay visas which have not yet been decided; This does not apply to persons whose stay is in the interests of the Czech Republic,
4. Abort all applications for a residence permit for more than 90 days lodged at the representative offices;
5. prohibition on citizens of the Czech Republic and foreigners with permanent or temporary residence over 90 days in the territory of the Czech Republic of entry into risk areas; This does not apply if a derogation is granted from this measure;
II. Provides that foreigners who are legally temporarily or permanently in accordance with the rules governing the residence of aliens at the time of the declaration of emergency status are entitled to remain in the territory for the duration of the emergency condition;
III. Saves
1. 1. Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior
(a) implement the measures referred to in paragraphs I / 1 and 4 of this resolution;
(b) by means of a communication published on the website of the Ministry of the Interior or by any other appropriate means, where the entry of foreigners under point I / 1 of this resolution is in the interest of the Czech Republic;
(c) to grant exemptions under paragraph I / 5 of this resolution;
2. To determine the Minister for Health by means of a communication published on the website of the Ministry of Health or by other appropriate means of risk areas as referred to in points I / 1 and 5 of this resolution,
3rd Minister for Foreign Affairs
(a) implement the measures referred to in paragraphs I / 2 and 3 of this resolution;
(b) by means of a communication published on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or by other appropriate means, where the stay referred to in points I / 2 and 3 of this resolution is in the interest of the Czech Republic.
They shall:
