DECLARATION
of 19 February 2008
amending Decree No. 332 / 2000 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Coll., laying down certain procedures for the approval and verification of certain EEC-marked meters, as amended
The Ministry of Industry and Trade provides pursuant to Section 27 of Act No. 505 / 1990 Coll., on Metrology, as amended by Act No. 4 / 1993 Coll., Act No. 20 / 1993 Coll., Act No. 119 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 137 / 2002 Coll., (hereinafter "the Act ') for the implementation of Sections 6 paragraphs 2, 3 and 9 and Sections 9 paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Act:
Decree No. 332 / 2000 Coll., laying down certain procedures for the approval and verification of specified measuring instruments marked with EEC mark, as amended by Decree No. 260 / 2003 Coll. and Decree No. 509 / 2004 Coll., is hereby amended as follows:
1. footnote 1a shall read:
"(1a) Council Directive No 71 / 316 / EEC of 26 July 1971 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to common provisions for measuring instruments and methods of metrological control. Council Directive 83 / 575 / EEC of 26 October 1983 amending Directive 71 / 316 / EEC of 26 July 1971 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to common provisions for measuring instruments and methods of metrological control. Council Directive 87 / 355 / EEC of 25 June 1987 amending Directive 71 / 316 / EEC of 26 July 1971 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to common provisions for measuring instruments and methods of metrological control. Council Directive 88 / 665 / EEC of 21 December 1988 amending several Directives on the approximation of the laws of the Member States containing provisions on the publication of and testing and certificates in the Official Journal of the European Communities. Commission Directive 2007 / 13 / EEC of 7 March 2007 amending Annex II to Council Directive 71 / 316 / EEC on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to common provisions for measuring instruments and methods of metrological control. '
2. In Annex 2, point 3.2.2, the graphic form of the EEC initial verification mark is added to the following indication for the Czech Republic:
3. In Annex 2, point 3.2.2, the example of the graphic design of the EEC initial verification mark is replaced by the following example:
The initial EEC verification marks used under the existing legislation shall remain valid until the end of the period of verification of the gauge.
This Decree takes effect on 1 March 2008.
