DECLARATION

of 31 July 1985
on the issue of banknotes of 1000 CZK
The Federal Ministry of Finance pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll., on Money Reform, declares:
On 1 October 1985, the National Bank of Czechoslovakia banknotes shall be issued every 1000 CZK of the model 1985.
(1) 1000 €Model 1985 banknote is 67 mm wide and 157 mm long. It is printed on yellowish paper with continuous dark-coloured watermark and protective blue and red fibres stored in paper.
(2) The watermark creates horizontal rows of alternating leaves and five-pointed stars across the entire surface of the paper.
(3) The face and back page of the 1000 CZK banknote is equipped with undercoloured protective signatures throughout the area.
(4) On the face of the banknote, the main printing is made by a three-colour line rotogravure in three shades of blue. The face area is divided into three identical fields; by finishing the main printing about 4 mm before the cut of the banknote, a hint of framing is created in the middle and right field. The middle and right field is supported by an ornament resembling a sheet of notes and notes.
In the left-hand field there is a large numerical indication of the value "1000," situated in the direction of the vertical side of the banknote. It consists of figures containing microscopic and microshrafur, with grey offset guilloche on its background. At the bottom of the left field, there are two tactile geometrical characters for the blind, performed in deep print.
In the middle field at the top is the state emblem of CSSR in red. It is placed in a bouquet of convalines in green and white with the background of a large blue guilloche. Under the flower there is a five-colour guilloche rose. On the top left there are two longitudinal guilloche, divided by the ornament. The value number "1000" is placed in the left guilloche. There is a guilloche belt at the bottom, the middle part of which is blue violet and blue.

Between the left and the middle field, there is a vertical threat of "Counterfeiting BANKNOTES TROUBLE BY LAW."
The true field is dominated by a portrait of Bedrich Smetana. The name "BEDROCH SMETANA" and the years of birth and death "1824-1884" are in three rows to the right of the portrait. A large bright value number "1000" is placed in the lower part. The right field closes the big guilloche.
The name of the author of the design "A. BRUNOVÁ DEL." (designed) and the name of the engraver "M. ONDRÁČEK SC." (engraved) are printed in small letters in the hint of the frame below. in the middle is the name of the printer "STATE PRESCRIBILITY PRAGUE, PRAGUE."
The denomination of the series of banknotes in one capital letter of the alphabet and a two-digit number is placed at the top of the left field, the six-digit serial number is above the characters for the blind bottom. In the right field of the banknote, the marking of the series and the serial number shall be repeated in the row above the portrait. The series and serial numbers are printed in red.
(5) On the reverse of the banknote, the main printing is made by a three-colour line rotogravure in three shades of blue. The area is divided into two identical fields, left with a hint of framing.
The left field is dominated by the display of Vyšehrad. The inscription "HIGHRAD 'is placed lower left. The value numbers" 1000 "are placed on the top left and on the bottom right. The left field is finished on the right with a large colourful and dangerous guilloche.
In the right bright field, in the direction of the vertical side of the banknote is the large value number "1000" in purple. Against its background there is a large colourful, irritating guilloche, in a mirror position towards the colourful guilloche ending the left field. Both guilloche are separated by the vertical inscription "BANKNOTES ARE GOLD AND OTHER ACTIVITIES OF THE STATE BANK OF CZECH-BOOK '.
The name of the author of the design "A. BRUNO DEL." and the name of the engraver "B. ŠNEIDER SC." shall be printed in small letters in a hint of the framed bottom. in the middle is the designation "© STATE BANK OF CZECHOLIVÁ '.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
