Government Regulation
of 15 July 1953
on professional schools for the education of masters of production training.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic orders, with the consent of the President of the Republic, pursuant to § 1 of the Constitutional Act No. 47 / 1950 Coll., on adaptations to public administration organisation, and under Act No. 31 / 1953 Coll., on the School System and Teacher Education (Education Act):
(1) Vocational education for the pursuit of the profession of masters of production training in the training courses of state staff shall be provided by professional schools for the education of masters of production training (hereinafter referred to as "vocational schools").
(2) Vocational schools are four-year selection schools.
The Vocational Schools are set up by the Ministry of Labour according to the National Economic Development Plan for the most widespread professions for which young people are trained in the training of national advance schools.
(1) The Ministry of Labour is responsible for the administration and management of vocational schools; It is responsible for teaching general subjects in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Education.
(2) The Ministry of Labour, in agreement with the Ministry of Education and Education, shall, when drawing up and approving teaching plans and syllables and laying down technical guidelines. The regulation of issues common to vocational schools of all kinds is governed by the guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Education.
The position of graduates of vocational schools is determined and amended by the Ministry of Labour. The distribution of graduates from vocational schools shall be governed by the rules on the distribution of graduates from universities and from professional selection schools.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication; they shall be carried out by the Minister of Labour in agreement with the Minister of Education and Education and with other participating members of the Government.
