DECLARATION
Federal Ministry of the Interior
of 6 July 1979
amending and supplementing Decree No. 100 / 1975 Coll., on road traffic rules
The Federal Ministry of the Interior shall, in agreement with the participating central authorities in accordance with Article 16 (1) (a) of Decree No. 54 / 1953 Coll., on road traffic, as amended by the legal measure of the Bureau of the National Assembly No 13 / 1956 Coll.:
The Decree of the Federal Ministry of Interior No. 100 / 1975 Coll., on road traffic rules, as amended by Decree No. 136 / 1978 Coll., is amended as follows:
Article 12 (1) reads as follows:
"(1) The driving speed shall be adapted in particular by the driver to his / her ability, vehicle and load characteristics, weather conditions and other circumstances which he / she may anticipate; shall only be driven at such a speed as to be able to stop the vehicle from the distance at which it has vision. The driver may go
(a) a motorcycle speed not exceeding 80 km / h;
(b) a passenger and passenger delivery car at a speed of not more than:
- on the highway 110 km per hour,
- on other roads 90 km per hour,
(c) a freight or special vehicle with a total weight of:
- not more than 6000 kg at a speed of 80 km / h,
- more than 6000 kg, not more than 70 km per hour,
(d) bus
- long-distance scheduled public transport of persons not exceeding 90 km per hour,
- public and competitive passenger transport not exceeding 70 km per hour.
The provisions of the previous sentence shall also apply to the journey in the municipality between 23 and 5 hours. '
2. the following paragraph 4 is added to Article 12:
"(4) The maximum speeds set out in paragraph 1 shall not apply to drivers of vehicles of the armed forces, armed corps and to drivers of test vehicles of research centres, provided that such vehicles bear a special registration mark. ';
This Decree shall take effect on 1 August 1979.
