Government Regulation
of 5 March 1946
amending the Government Regulation of 20 April 1943, No 5, OJ L 140, 5.6.2009, p. The Czech Republic, establishing a Czechoslovak military medal for merit.
With the agreement of the President of the Czechoslovak Republic, the Government hereby orders, pursuant to Article 1 of the Act of 21 October 1936, No 268 Coll., on Regulations and Titles:
Čl. I.
Government Regulation No 5 / 1943 OJ No L 347, p.
1. In Paragraph 1, paragraph 1, the dot is deleted at the end of the second sentence and the words "and in special cases for excellent credit for the Czechoslovak army and civilians."
Article 2 (1) (2) reads as follows: "Closer provisions include the attached Statutes of these honours which are part of this Regulation."
3. Paragraph 2, first sentence, shall be supplemented by the following: '; they shall be carried out by the Minister for National Defence, in agreement with the Minister for Foreign Affairs, in agreement with the Minister for Foreign Affairs, and in agreement with the Minister for Home Affairs as regards the award of honours to civil persons.' The second sentence is deleted.
Čl. II.
The Statutes of the Czechoslovak Military Medal for Merit are amended as follows:
1. In Article 1, the following sentence is added at the end: "It may also be awarded to members of the Allied armies and, in special cases, for the outstanding merit of the Czechoslovak army and of civilians."
2. In Article 2, the second sentence is deleted.
3. in Article 3:
(a) paragraphs 1 and 2 are deleted;
(b) in paragraph 3, the word "three" after the word "are," after the word "bust," the word "three" shall be inserted, the words "Czechoslovak Private" shall be replaced by the words "Czechoslovak Private," the word "parallel" shall be replaced by the word "parallel" and the words "in the lower part of the medal parallel to its badge shall be replaced by the words" in the lower part is the abbreviation ";
(c) a new paragraph of the following text is added at the end of the article: "The first degree of the medal is marked with a silver star with a diameter of 5 mm."
4. Articles 5 and 6 are deleted.
5. In Article 7, the words "only once (either grade I or grade II) 'shall be inserted after the words" is granted', the word "survivors' shall be replaced by the word" heirs' and the last sentence shall be amended as follows: "If not, the award shall be returned to the Ministry of National Defence '; the Article becomes Article 5.
Article 8 shall become Article 6.
7. In Article 9, the words "made at the request of the Minister for National Defence 'shall be omitted at the end of the sentence; Article 7 shall become Article 7.
Čl. III.
The Minister of National Defence is hereby authorised to amend and declare in the Collection of Laws and Regulations the full text of Decree No 5 / 1943 of the Government of the Member States, as is apparent from the amendments made by this Decree.
Čl. IV.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 21 February 1945. they shall be carried out by the Minister of National Defence in agreement with the Foreign and Home Ministers.
