of 19 December 2018
amending Act No 358 / 1992 Coll., on notaries and their activities (notarial order), as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:

1. In Paragraph 7 (1) of the Introductory Part of the provision, the words "the Czech Republic 'are replaced by the words" a Member State of the European Union, another State constituting the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation'.
2. in Articles 11 (d) and 20 (1) (b), the words "the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic" shall be replaced by the words "a Member State of the European Union, another State constituting the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation."
3. in Article 18 (1) (a), the words "the Czech Republic" shall be replaced by the words "a Member State of the European Union, another State constituting the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation."
Transitional provision
The competitions for the appointment of a notarial office declared before the date of entry into force of this Act shall be completed in accordance with existing legislation.
Efficacy
That law shall take effect on the first day of the third calendar month following its publication.
