DECLARATION
Federal Ministry of Finance
of 6 February 1986
on the issue of silver commemorative 50 crowns with the theme of the urban conservation of Prague, Český Krumlov, Telč, Bratislava and Levoče
The Federal Ministry of Finance declares pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll., on monetary reform, and pursuant to § 2 (2) of Government Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
§ 1
(1) To commemorate the importance of the cultural legacy of our ancestors and the care of the Socialist State for the preservation of important architectural units, five silver commemorative 50 crowns are issued with motifs of the urban conservation of Prague, Český Krumlov, Telč, Bratislava and Levoč (hereinafter referred to as "50 crowns").
(2) The 50 crowns are rolled from an alloy of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc. The weight of 50 crowns is 7 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down of 10 / 1000 and a silver content of 5 / 1000 is permitted. The diameter of 50 crowns is 27 mm, their edge is serrated.
§ 2
Prague City Monument Reserve
(1) On the face of fifty crowns is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and around it in an unclosed copy the name of the state "Czechoslovak Socialist Republic." Under the national emblem, the value "50 CZK" and the year "1986" is in two rows.
(2) On the back of the 50 crown is the Renaissance fountain, stylization of Charles Bridge and Vltava. Above the bridge is a grouping of historical buildings depicting architectural styles. On the left is the Baroque temple of St. Nicholas in Malá Strana, in the middle of the Renaissance summer castle Belveder and on the right is the Romanesque basilica of St. George. Above them dominates the panorama Hradčan with the Gothic Cathedral of St. Vitus. The city name "PRAHA" is located below.
(3) The author of the 50 crown design is the academic sculptor Ladislav Kozák, the initials of his name "LK" are placed in the left bridge arch on the reverse.
§ 3
City Monument Reservation ČESKÝ KRUMLOV
(1) On the face of fifty crowns is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and around it in an unclosed copy the name of the state "Czechoslovak Socialist Republic." Under the national emblem, the value "50 CZK" and the year "1986" is in two rows.
(2) On the back of the fifty crown is the front of the town hall, on the left the temple of St. Vitus and on the right the wall tower. The dominant feature of the cluster of historical buildings is Krumlov Castle. Under the temple of St. Vitus is a stylized five-leaf Rožberg rose. The city name "ČESKÝ KRUMLOV" is located in the line below.
(3) The author of the 50 crown design is the academic sculptor Ladislav Kozák, the initials of his name "LK" are placed in the first arch of the town hall on the right on the reverse.
§ 4
City Monument Reservation TELČ
(1) On the face of fifty crowns is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic in the upper part and under it in three rows the name of the state "CZECHOSLOVAK SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC." On the sides of the national character there is a "50 Kcs" in the divided row. The number of 1986 is in the middle of the mine.
(2) On the back of the 50koruna is the facade of three Renaissance townhouses from the Telč Square. Below them is the name of the town "TELČ."
(3) The author of the 50 crown design is the academic sculptor Jarmila Truhlíková - Spíváková, the initials of her name "JTS" are on the reverse in the middle of the bottom.
§ 5
BRATISLAVA City Monument Reserve
(1) On the face of fifty crowns is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic in the upper part and under it in three rows the name of the state "CZECHOSLOVAK SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC." On the sides of the national character there is a "50 Kcs" in the divided row. The number of 1986 is in the middle of the mine.
(2) On the back of the fifty crown is the Mikhal Tower and behind it the stylized Danube. Over the river is dominated by Bratislava Castle with historical walls and buildings. In the background on the right is a hint of Kamzik top with a TV tower. The name of the town "BRATISLAVA" is located lower left.
(3) The author of the 50 crown design is the academic sculptor Jarmila Truhlíková - Spíváková, the initials of her name "JTS" are on the back of the lower right.
§ 6
LEVOČA City Monument Reservation
(1) On the face of fifty crowns is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic in the upper part and under it in three rows the name of the state "CZECHOSLOVAK SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC." On the sides of the national character there is a "50 Kcs" in the divided row. The number of 1986 is in the middle of the mine.
(2) On the back of the fifty crown is a part of the late Gothic altar from the temple of St. James with a central figural motif from the carver Master Paul of Levoc. In the background is the facade of the left Renaissance Town Hall. The city name "LEVOČA" is located in the middle of the bottom.
(3) Drahomir Zobek is the author of the 50 crown design, the initials of his name "DZ" are on the back of the lower part of the town hall on the right.
§ 7
This Decree takes effect on 27 February 1986.
