Government Regulation
of 22 February 1957
amending and supplementing the Government Regulation on the organisation of executive bodies of national committees.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic orders pursuant to § 33 of Act No. 13 / 1954 Coll., on National Committees:
Government Regulation No 23 / 1954 Coll., on the organisation of executive bodies of national committees, is amended as follows:
1.
"(1) The central and regional national committees shall, as a general rule, establish the following trade unions and administrations:
Agriculture and forestry management
management of the local economy
Transport management
business management
Financial Department
Department of Education and Culture
Medical Department
Social Security Department
Department of the Purchase of Agricultural Products
Department of Home Affairs
Department of Labour
Department of Construction
Department of Water Management
Industrial Department
Church department.
(2) With the approval of the Government, the Central and Regional National Committees may set up other departments (administrations) according to the needs of the economic and cultural construction of their territory, after which they may waive the establishment of a branch (administration).
(3) As their own apparatus, the central and regional national committees shall, as a general rule, be set up by the Organisational, Control and Kadar departments; It shall also set up a Planning Commission (Section 3) and in accordance with special civil defence staff regulations. ';

"(1) Regional national committees, municipal national committees and district national committees in Prague and Bratislava generally form the following departments:
Department of Agriculture and Forestry
Department of Local Economy
Department of Transport and Industry
Department of Commerce
Financial Department
Department of Education and Culture
Medical Department
Social Security Department
Department of the Purchase of Agricultural Products
Department of Home Affairs
Department of Labour
Department of Construction.
(2) Regional, urban and district national committees in Prague and Bratislava may, with the agreement of the Regional (Central) National Committee, set up other departments according to the needs of economic and cultural construction of their territory, after which they may waive the establishment of a department.
(3) As their own apparatus, the Regional, Urban and District National Committees in Prague and Bratislava generally establish a general department; In addition, it shall set up a Planning Commission (section 3) and the Regional and Urban National Committees shall set up civil defence personnel according to special regulations. ';

"(1) The national committees shall organise individual departments (administrations) in accordance with the responsibility of the competent central authorities.
(2) The internal organisation of its trade unions (administrations) shall be determined by the Board of the National Committee within the limits of the principles approved by the Government and within the framework of the basic systemisational indicators. "
Without prejudice to Government Decree No. 27 / 1956 Coll., on the Municipal National Committees in the West Bohemian Spa.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 1957; All members of the government will do it.
