Government Regulation
of 22 February 1956
on the transfer of competence in the field of foreign tourism.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic orders, with the consent of the President of the Republic pursuant to § 1 of the Constitutional Act No. 47 / 1950 Coll., on adaptations in the organisation of public administration:
§ 1.
The care of foreign tourism, which until now belonged to the Ministry of Transport, goes to the Ministry of Foreign Trade.
§ 2.
The existing regulations on the organisation of foreign tourism (Decree No. 44 / 1954 Coll., on the organisation of public transport in the field of the Ministry of Transport) remain unaffected with the exception set out in Section 1; In particular, in the field of foreign tourism, the Minister for Foreign Trade is also entitled, within the limits of the principles laid down by the Government, to establish, amend and abolish individual organisational services and to determine their organisational form, location, competence and territorial area.
§ 3.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 1956; to be carried out by the Foreign Trade Minister in agreement with participating members of the Government.
