Government Regulation
of 8 February 1955
on the state prices of Klement Gottwald.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic orders, with the consent of the President of the Republic pursuant to § 7 of Act No. 247 / 1949 Coll., on Honours and Honours of Recognition:
State prices shall be awarded to the next time as the State Awards of Klement Gottwald. The honorary title of the "laureate of the state prize of Clementa Gottwald" belongs to the award.
(1) A Committee on State Awards for Clemente Gottwald is hereby established with commissions for the fields of science, technology and art.
(2) On the basis of the opinions of the commissions, the Committee on State Awards of Clementa Gottwald assesses proposals for the award of State Awards of Clementa Gottwald, submitted by public institutions, organisations or individuals, and submits them to the Government.
(3) The Committee and the Commission are composed of excellent representatives of science, art and other fields of creative activity. The members of the Committee and the commissions shall be appointed and removed by the Government.
Paragraph 5 of Decree-Law No 147 / 1950 Coll. is deleted.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication; All members of the government will do it.
