amending and supplementing certain provisions of the Law on the benefit of property gains and on the benefit of property.
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on the following Act:
The Act of 15 May 1946, No. 134 Coll., on the benefit of the property increment and the benefit of the property, is amended and supplemented as follows:
Article 1 (76) (5) reads as follows:
"The assets referred to in paragraph 1 which were not registered until 31 March 1949 pursuant to the provisions of Sections 16 and 19 shall be forfeited to the Czechoslovak State on that date, according to the status as at 31 March 1949. For forfeited claims on insurance contracts, insurance undertakings shall pay the amounts corresponding to premium reserves calculated in accordance with the Ministry of Finance guidelines (§ 11 of Decree No. 95 / 1945 Coll.), even in the case of insurance, which the insurance undertaking is not obliged to purchase under insurance conditions. Insurance contracts for which these amounts have been paid shall expire on 31 March 1949. '

"The Minister of Finance may:
(a) by order to issue supplementary provisions to prevent the loss of property from applying for or from paying the benefit of the property increment or asset benefit;
(b) authorise exemptions from the provisions of this law to prevent irregularities or hardships. "
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication; it shall be implemented by the Finance Minister in agreement with the participating members of the Government.
