on the issue of commemorative silver two hundred crowns for the 650th anniversary of the founding of the Archbishop of Prague and the laying of the base stone to the Cathedral of St. Vitus
The Czech National Bank provides according to § 22 (a) of the Act of the Czech National Council No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
§ 1
(1) On the occasion of the 650th anniversary of the founding of the Archbishop of Prague and the laying of the cornerstone to the Cathedral of St. Vitus, commemorative silver two hundred crowns (hereinafter referred to as "two hundred crowns") are issued.
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version intended for collector's purposes with a polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Two hundred korona in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 900 parts of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of the 2-hundredth crown is 13 g, its diameter 31 mm and the force 2,3 mm. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal design is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special design is smooth. A tolerance up and down of 0,13 g, 0,1 mm in diameter, 0,1 mm in thickness and 0,5% in silver shall be allowed for the stamping of two hundred crowns in normal and special design.
§ 2
(1) On the face of two hundred crowns there is a large national character of the Czech Republic. At the bottom edge of the coin is the name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC" in an unclosed copy. Under the state emblem on the right is two rows of the denomination of the coin with the acronym of the money unit "200 CZK," left mark of the mint, which drove two hundred crowns.
(2) The eastern part of the Cathedral of St. Vitus is depicted on the reverse of two hundred crowns in perspective. In the right part of the coin there is a sign of Prague Archbishop, which partly overlaps the depiction of the cathedral. At the bottom and right edge of the coin there is the text "ARCIBISCULTURE OF PRAGUE • CATEGORY SV. VIT" in the unclosed copy. Above the copy are placed in two rows "1344" and "1994" in the lower right part of the coin. The author of the design of the two hundred crown is the academic sculptor Jarmila Truhlíková - Spíváková. The initials of her name "JTS" are located at the bottom of the coin in the window arch of the cathedral left of the copy.
§ 3
This Decree shall take effect on 20 April 1994.
