GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 15 December 2004
increasing life-minima
The Government orders pursuant to § 7 (1) of Act No. 463 / 1991 Coll., on Life Minimum, as amended by Act No. 289 / 1997 Coll. and Act No. 271 / 2001 Coll.:
From 1 January 2005, the amount of life minima deemed necessary under the Life Minimum Act (1) to ensure nutrition and other basic personal needs2) shall be monthly.
(a) CZK 1,720 if the child is under 6 years of age,
(b) CZK 1,920 for a child between 6 and 10 years of age;
(c) 2 270 CZK if the child is between 10 and 15 years of age,
(d) CZK 2,490 if the child is not provided from 15 to 26 years of age,
e) CZK 2,360 for other citizens.
The amount of the minimum of living that is considered necessary under the Life Minimum Act (1) to ensure the necessary cost for households (3) shall be monthly from 1 January 2005.
(a) CZK 1,940, if it is an individual,
b) CZK 2,530, if 2 people live in the household,
c) CZK 3,140 if 3 or 4 people live in the household,
(d) 3 520 CZK if 5 or more people live in the household.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
