DECLARATION
Czech National Banks
of 21 March 1995
on the issue of banknotes of 100 CZK model 1995
The Czech National Bank provides according to § 22 (a) of the Act of the Czech National Council No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
On 21 June 1995, banknotes of CZK 100 model 1995 (hereinafter referred to as "the 1995 model banknote") shall be issued for circulation.
(1) The model banknote 1995 has the same dimensions including tolerance as the banknote 100 CZK model 1993 (hereinafter the "model banknote 1993"). Paper of the same quality and colour is used for the banknote model 1995, with a protective window band as for the banknote model 1993.1)
(2) The degree watermark on the wide, unprinted edge (hereinafter referred to as "coupon") is the same as that of the 1993 banknote, but is placed below.
(3) The protective serial number is in the same form and position as the model 1993 banknote. However, the contour mark is smaller, the upper part of the front is missing from the space inside the letters "C" and "S" of the green shrafting, which was in the case of the 1993 banknote, on the reverse side the upper part is printed in the colour of the dark green and the lower part in the green.
(1) On the face of the 1995 banknote, the images and texts are the same as in the 1993 banknote. They are printed using the same printing techniques as in model 1993.
(2) The front page of the 1995 banknote differs from the front page of the 1993 banknote as follows:
a) portrait, tactile mark for the blind and weak-sighted, the middle part of the motive of the Gothic cross vault and all texts are printed in dark green grey colour and are more pronounced than the 1993 banknote; the tactile mark for the blind and weak-sighted has a different ornamental decoration;
b) the ornamental surface for the hidden pattern in the portrait arm is printed in dark green grey and the pattern of the ornament is simpler; a uniform shrafting system is used for the entire ornamental area and its individual parts are not significantly separated; there is also no separation of this area from the rest of the portrait by a white line in which the microtext "STO KORUN" was placed on the model 1993 banknote;
(c) the intensity of the colour of the denser belt of green colour exceeding the right unprinted edge increases from left to right, the number "100" on this belt is greater than that of the model 1993 banknote, the small decor creating microtext is softer;
(d) the year of issue of the banknote is marked "1995";
(e) the drawing of the depiction of the face and reverse side of the Prague grosh above the name of the issue bank is more obvious than the 1993 banknote;
(f) minor ornamental motifs of the background are more pronounced; are printed predominantly in combination with green and purple, in the middle of the left half of the print pattern in combination with green and ochre;
(g) the underprint delimiting the upper and lower edges of the banknote is more pronounced than that of the model 1993;
(h) the large number "100" on the coupon is lighter at the top than at the bottom; a small grid in its digits creates a different ornamental decoration.
(1) On the reverse of the 1995 banknote, the images and texts, with the exception of the marking of the banknote manufacturer and the author of the engraving transcript of the reverse page of the banknote are the same as in the 1993 model. They are printed using the same printing techniques as the 1993 banknote.
(2) The reverse side of the 1995 banknote differs from the reverse side of the 1993 banknote as follows:
(a) the historical seal of the Charles University (hereinafter referred to as the "Seal") is printed in red-violet colour, darker and more pronounced; The ribbon of the seal is wider. the ornamental motif in the form of leaves, which runs from the ribbon under the seal, is larger and more pronounced, reaches to the top of the seal, reaches to the bottom to the two edges of the inscription "PALLING BANKNOTES WITH TROUBLE"; a microtext creating the number "100 'is hidden in the trimming of the ornamental motif;
(b) the stripe of parchment under the seal is printed in light green colour, the intensity of which increases towards both sides, the lack of shraping of the 1993 banknote;
(c) the "STO KORUN" microtext, arranged in concentrated circles, is hidden on a denser green belt at the right unprinted edge;
d) the fragments of Gothic windows and geometric patterns resembling the stained windows of St. Víta's Church in Prague are printed in green, in the parts immediately adjacent to the seal in purple; their ornamental decor is in detail different from the model 1993 banknote; in the case of Gothic window fragments, a darker highlighting line is missing, which in the case of a model banknote 1993 hid microtext in the form of the number "100 ';
(e) the small-scale grid lines are printed in green, under the seal in ochre;
(f) the lighter underprint continuously follows the main print pattern at both the top and bottom edges of the banknote and is more pronounced than the 1993 banknote;
(g) the name of the printing works which have produced the banknote shall be "THE STATE PRESCRIBILITY CENIN, PRAHA" printed in red-violet colour and placed at the bottom of the banknote in the centre; at the bottom of the banknote on the right, the name of the author of the engraving transcription of the main motif of the "V. FAJT SC." The inscription "FORMUNERATION BANKNOTES ARE PRESSURE BY LAW 'shall be printed in red-violet colour and the letters shall be smaller than that of the model 1993 banknote;
(h) the digits of the number "100" placed in the lower left corner of the print pattern are printed in a dark green-grey colour and their area is bright, without a small grid;
(i) the digits of the large number "100" on the coupon are printed at the top of the purple colour, in the bottom of the dark green grey, a small grid in their surface creates a different ornamental decoration;
j) at the bottom of the coupon, a graphic symbol in the form of ornaments decorated with the letter "K" in the circle is printed in a dark green-grey colour.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 June 1995.
