on the issue of commemorative silver two hundred crowns for the 200th anniversary of the birth of Pavel Josef Shafarík
The Czech National Bank provides according to § 22 (a) of the Act of the Czech National Council No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
§ 1
(1) On the 200th anniversary of the birth of Pavel Josef Shafarík, commemorative silver two hundred crowns (hereinafter "two hundred crowns") are issued.
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version intended for collector's purposes with a polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Two hundred korona in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 900 parts of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of two hundred crowns is 13 g, its diameter is 31 mm and its strength is 2,25 mm. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal design is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special design is smooth. In the case of two-hundredth stamping in both normal and special design, the permitted tolerance shall be up and down in weight 0,13 g, 0,1 mm in diameter, 0,15 mm in thickness and 0,5% in silver.
§ 2
(1) There is a stylized large state emblem of the Czech Republic on the cheek of two hundred crowns. The State name "CZECH REPUBLIC" is in an unclosed copy above the state emblem. Under the national emblem is the denomination of the coin with the acronym of the money unit "200 CZK" and the middle of the year of the two hundred koruna "1995." The brand of the mint that drove the two hundred crown is located at the bottom edge of the coin to the left of the claws of the Silesian eagle in the state emblem of the Czech Republic.
(2) On the back of two hundred crowns is a stylized portrait of Pavel Josef Shafarík. Above the portrait is the name "PAVEL JOSEF ŠAFARÍK" in the unclosed copy and under the portrait is also the name "1795-1995" in the unclosed copy. The author of the design of the two hundred crown is Master of Art Petr Horák. The initials of his name "HP" are placed at the bottom of the coin at the right side of the portrait.
§ 3
This Decree shall take effect on 26 April 1995.
