DECLARATION
Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Socialist Republic
of 5 May 1976
declaring the Protected Landscape Area of the Small Carpathians
The Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Socialist Republic provides in the agreement with the participating central authorities of the state administration pursuant to § 10 (2) and § 11 of the Slovak National Council Act No. 1 / 1955 Coll. SNR, on State Protection of Nature:
(1) The territory defined in Part I of the Annex, which forms part of this Decree, is hereby declared as a protected landscape area of the Small Carpathians (hereinafter referred to as the "region"). The area is situated in the territory of the capital of the Slovak Socialist Republic of Bratislava and in the territory of the four districts of the West Slovak Region, namely:
(a) in the territory of the capital of SSR Bratislava
in the cadastral territories of the city districts of Bratislava III (Vinohrady, Rača, Vajnory), Bratislava IV (Karlovy Vary Ves- Devin, Dúbravka, Lamac, Záhorská Bystrica);
(b) in the district of Bratislava-rural
in the cadastral territories of Borinka, Častá, Dolany, Dubová, Jabloneň, Jur pri Bratislava, Kitchenno, Limbach, Lozorno, Marianka, Blue, Mysenice, Pernek, Pezinok, Pila, Stupava, Vinosada;
(c) in the Senica district
in the cadastral territories of the municipalities of Brez pod Bradlom, Cehěr-Liesková, Hradište pod Vratnom, Jablonica, Košariský, Plavecký Mikuláš, Plavecký Peter, Plavecký Podhrady, Prieval, Robožník, Rozbehy, Sološnica;
(d) in Trenčín
in the cadastral territories of the municipalities of Bzince pod Javorina (Bzince pod Javorina, Hrušová), Cachtice, Častkovce, Hrachovišt, Krajné, Nové Mesto nad Váhom, Podolia, Vadíovka, Vishnova;
(e) in Trnava district
in the cadastral territories of the municipalities of Buková, Buchtice, Dldá, Dolní Lopasov, Dolní Orešany, Dobrá Voda, Horny Orešany, Chtelnica, Kočín, Lančár, Lošanec, Naked, Powder, Smolenice (Smolenice, Smolenická Nová Ves), Trstina, Vrbová (Vrbovky, Šipkové, Šterus).
(2) The purpose of the publication of the areas is to protect and enhance nature and natural values, to ensure their rational use, taking into account their universal cultural, scientific, economic, water-based and health-related importance.
(3) The protection of natural values and the maintenance of the established conditions of protection of the area is the responsibility of all the authorities and organisations operating in its territory, as well as of citizens residing or staying in the area.
(4) In the territory of the area can be according to § 6 paragraphs 3 and § 7 and 8 of the Slovak National Council Act No. 1 / 1955 Coll. SNR declare special protection of its extremely important parts.
(1) The scope and conditions of protection of the area are laid down in particular in Sections 12 (1) and 13 of the Slovak National Council Act No. 1 / 1955 Coll. SNR, which regulate general prohibitions and restrictions. Within the meaning of these provisions of the Act, only in an agreement with the authorities of the State Protection of Nature:
(a) carry out geological work, including technical work, to the extent provided for by specific provisions;
(b) to conquer mineral deposits;
(c) carry out archaeological excavations or other excavations associated with scientific research;
(d) to introduce non-indigenous species of plants and animals into the wild only when carrying out research in the context of an experimental activity, the results of which shall decide on their possible economic use;
(e) to change the boundaries of the forestry and agricultural land fund, to remove land from the forestry sector and to afforestation non-forest land; the land to be afforested by forest management organisations as planned as part of the demolition of the soil fund;
(f) use forest and agricultural parcels for other purposes;
(g) to carry out all types of construction outside the indolany of the municipalities (mining, industrial, engineering, recreational, residential, garages, etc.), except the operating facilities of the state forests and farms and the facilities used to protect the border;
h) carry out construction interventions on existing buildings which substantially alter the architectural character and appearance of the buildings and their premises; (ch) outside the municipality, except for areas which have already been designated for these purposes, to plant landfills and to store waste;
(i) to place advertising, information and other similar facilities outside the inner village;
(j) to remove and burn shrubs, grass and other vegetation outside the inner village and outside fenced land;
(k) to use in bulk pesticides outside forest nurseries and agricultural land fund;
(l) capture and modify springs, blowers and surface waters for water;
(m) violate the sinkhole, mine, sinkhole and scraping system or underground karst formations, whether by destructive work or by weighing soil or waste.
(2) The scope of other activities in the area is defined as follows:
(a) the management of the forestry fund shall be governed by approved forest management plans, drawn up in cooperation with the national nature conservation authorities, taking into account the social functions of the forest, in particular water management, soil protection and tourism;
(b) the development of agricultural production in the region shall take place on the basis of comprehensive plans for the development of agriculture for each administrative unit, drawn up in cooperation with the authorities of the State Protection of Nature, with particular regard to the preservation of the biological and aesthetic values of the areas;
(c) all projects and interventions must respect the aquatic importance of the territory. In particular, the expansion of erosion by excluding the causes of erosion and erosion should be avoided. Waterworks of any kind (tanks, flow adjustments, water melioration, etc.) can be carried out in the area only on the basis of relevant documentation approved by the authorities of the state conservation. Special care should be taken to protect current and prospective drinking water sources;
(d) construction shall be carried out according to approved planning documentation, taking into account the optimal preservation of non-urban areas of the original natural environment. When designing and building, account should be taken of the nature of the landscape and the material used. The construction of corporate and private cabins, the setting-up of campsites, parking lots and other functional facilities is permitted only in the areas defined by the zoning and state conservation authorities and on the basis of approved planning documentation;
(e) hunting and fishing shall be carried out in accordance with approved plans for the rearing and hunting of game and fish, with a view to the conservation and enhancement of natural sets of communities; the protection of wildlife, in cooperation with the authorities of nature conservation;
(f) the construction of communications shall be carried out on the basis of approved planning documentation. The expansion and branding of tourist paths and the construction of educational routes is carried out in accordance with the concept of nature conservation in the region by mutual agreement with the tourist authorities in the Slovak Socialist Republic. A survey for forestry purposes shall be carried out in cooperation with the State Conservation Authorities and shall be approved with their participation in the Final Protocol to the Forest Economic Plan;
(g) research and research which affects the natural circumstances of the area shall be documented and coordinated by the competent authorities of the State of nature conservation in such a way as to avoid time and local conflicts of interest of the various organisations or to avoid damage to protected natural values. The adjustment shall not concern research and surveys for the processing of land planning documentation, agricultural and forest production plans or water management plans;
(h) the competent agricultural authorities shall cooperate with the authorities of the State Protection of Nature in the design of the economic and technical adaptations of the land concerning trees and shrub vegetation growing in the territory of areas outside the forest which are of interest to the State Protection of Nature.
(1) The territory defined in Part II of the Annex to this Decree is hereby declared a zone protection zone under Section 11 of the SNR Act No. 1 / 1955 Coll.
(2) In the protection zone of the area, economic and other activities must be carried out in such a way as not to damage the natural values of the areas and to preserve the natural nature of the landscape.
(3) The approval of the State conservation authorities is also required for construction in the protection zone outside the municipality's indolent area, with the exception of the operating structures of forestry and agriculture.
(4) The provisions of Paragraph 2 (2) (h) of this Decree apply to the protection of trees growing outside the forest.
(5) The conditions laid down in Section 2 (2) (e) of this Decree shall apply to the exercise of hunting and fishing activities in the protection zone of the area.
(1) In matters relating to areas, the authorities of the State, in particular the local planning authorities, the construction authorities, the mining authorities, the authorities of the state of forest care, the air protection authorities, the water management, agricultural, hunting, fisheries and transport authorities, as well as the authorities of tourism, physical education, health and hygiene with regard to the mission of the region, in cooperation with the competent authorities of the State nature protection.
(2) Similarly, the authorities and organisations implementing their own measures to protect the air, water, soil, vegetation, fish, game and other wildlife in the region are acting.
(1) Specific conditions laid down by the competent authorities apply to the different means of protection of the territories within the area and its protection zone.
(2) In the territories designated by the military administration which are part of the area, the authorities of the State Protection of Nature and of the State Monument Care are required to take care of the interests of the military administration, and in the event of changes concerning the defence of the State, equipment or premises serving that purpose, seek the approval of the military administration or the competent authorities of the Federal Ministry of Interior. The territory of the military administration is not affected by the declaration of the area.
(3) The declaration of the area shall be without prejudice to property rights and other property relations in the territory of the area.
(1) The tasks of the authorities of the State Protection of Nature within the territory of the area and the Protection Zone within the meaning of this Decree are carried out by the Slovak Institute of Heritage Care and Nature Protection in Bratislava within its jurisdiction; The management of Slovak caves in Liptovský Mikuláš in cooperation with the Administration of the Protected Landscape Area provides care for caves and karst phenomena.
(2) National committees operating in their territory are actively involved in the conservation of the nature and natural environment of the area and its protection zone.
(3) The authorities and organisations making use of the territory of the area and its protection zone shall, within their scope, provide financial and material resources for the protection, development and enhancement of the area in the framework of approved economic and financial plans, where the need for such funds results from the activities they carry out in that territory.
The maps in which the area and its protection zone are drawn are stored in the Slovak Institute of Heritage Care and Nature Protection in Bratislava, the Sjód Slovak caves in Liptovský Mikuláš, the West Slovak Regional National Committee in Bratislava, the National Committee of the Slovak Socialist Republic of Bratislava, the District National Committees of Bratislava, Senica, Trenčín and Trnava, and the Sjód Geodesy and Cartography in Bratislava.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.

TERRITORY DEFINITION
protected landscape areas of the Small Carpathians and its protection zone
The protected landscape area is situated in the territory of the capital of the Slovak Socialist Republic of Bratislava and in the territory of the four districts of the Western Slovak Region, namely Bratislava-rural, Senica, Trenčín and Trnava.
The territory of the protected landscape area and its protection zone is marked on the prints of the basic map of the CSSR 1: 50 000 scale on the following map sheets:

I. Definition of the area
The border of the area runs from the starting point of the Red Bridge on the railway line Bratislava-Brno, located at the railway stop Bratislava-Železná studie, continues in the eastern direction through the continuous edge of the forest under the cubit 440 (Kamzík), turns around the cubit 287, changes direction north-east, under the cubits 330, 350 follows the edge of the forest, then passes through the border to the southeast edge of the village Limbach, passes through the crest of the village Jur pri Bratislava, continues through the junction 310 (Hájna hora hora), and continues through the edge of the east direction below the cote 399 (Suchý vrich) to the cote 184, where the quarry to the north, and continues to the crest of the crest of the forest, which follows the crest of the river Lúčanka, which follows approximately 1 koda. The border of the area passes further north through the cubits 330 (Lower field), 392 (Dolinkovsky hill), follows the continuous edge of the forest over the municipalities of Častá and Doľany, passes through the cubicle 414 (Predná Šisovotná) and continues to the edge of the forest to the stream Parná, which follows against the flow of approximately 4 km, and continues on about 1200 m of its left-hand presence, then over the village of Lošonec under the cubits 372 (Red) and 483 (Driny) follows the edge of the forest, circling the northwestern edge of the village Smolenice, following from the southeast the base of the hill Smolenice Castle. From there it passes to cubicle 334 (bare hill), east it follows the edge of the forest, passes through cubits 345 (Landric), 379 (Lipe), 290, 321, 301, 344, 343 (baldy), 352, 302, 324 (bare hill), 294, 260, from there it continues northeast along the Lancan stream, which follows about 1 km against the flow and turns to cubicle 305. The border of the area continues with the positions 326 (Kamenec), 396 (Mala Pec), 348, passes through the stream of Holeška into the water tank Cerenec, continues through the cubits 289, 325 and continues on the western edge of the settlement Obuchovci, continues through the cubits 316, 264, 259, 366, 426, 396 (Drapliak), 377 (Skalka), 290, 224, 293 to the state road Nová Mesto nad Váhom - Stará Tura, which is followed by the southern edge of the village Bzince pod Javorina and continues along the state road to the village of Hrušová up to 256 from where it turns to 369 (Podkrížie). From there, the border of the area continues to the southeast to the entrance of the left-hand tributary of Hoväd Spring, passes through cubits 304, 316 (Sedielce) to the stream of Jablonka at the eastern edge of the village of Hrachoviště, follows the continuous edge of the forest after the settlement of Mozoľáci, further along the settlement of U Januskov to the settlement of U Borov after the stream of Sobonka and continues against its flow after the settlement of Děurisášák, from where it passes through the cubit 411 (Galovo) and follows the continuous edge of the forest. Under the box 558 (High Mountain), the border breaks southwest, continues through the boxes 425 and 434, under the cubicle 370 (Ostriež) passes west on the state road Brez pod Bradlom - Jablonica, which follows the Holdošov mill located in front of the village Hradišt pod Vratnom, under the cubicle 407 follows the edge of the forest up to the cubicle 440 (High Rock), from which the northwest direction passes towards the Brezovska stream, which follows the railway station Osuska. It also passes through the boxes 236, 228 and 237, the edge of the forest under the boxes 473, 405 (Gross Kamenec) and 399 (Jezovka), bypasses the village of Prieval, passes through the box 232, follows the edge of the forest up to the bridge of the stream Fenesh on the state road near the Plavecký Mikuláš. The border of the region continues to pass through 367, 505 (Kršlenica), 276, 336 (Holá hora) and the southwest direction continues to the Trstienka stream, following its flow it passes on the State road Plavecký Mikuláš - Plavecký Podhrady, which is followed by the east direction of the 207, where it diverges from the eastern edge of the town Sološnica to the Sološnice stream [on this section is the border common to the national nature reservation Vápenna (Rastún)], which continues against the flow and below the column 573 (Mala Vápenna) passes through its left-way to the coryta Rohoznik stream and after its flow to the border along Olšák's mill, where it converts southwest direction to the Vinohrad. From there it follows the edge of the forest, under a box of 557 (Ražňová) right-hand presence after the entrance into the stream of Javorinka converges to the eastern edge of the village of Kitchenya, turns to the cubicle of 259, continues to the cubicle of 383, 472 (Pleše), 542 (Klotočina), 268, 308 (Na lipa) and 392, from there it continues to the north-west direction towards the Rudanical stream south of the village of Brálová, continues to the edge of the forest, below the cubicle of 320 with a quarry and then continues to the north-edge of the village of Lozorno, from there it passes 265, 190, 241 (Dúbrava), passes around the booth of 314 (Rakytovec).
The border of the separate part of the protected landscape area of Malá Karpaty - Devínín Kobyla - Kráľov vrch is based on the starting point of the cube 357 (Dúbravská Hlavica) west of Bratislava Dúbravka, from which it continues in the north and northwest direction along the edge of the forest towards the railway stop Devínín Nová Ves, from where it continues to the cubit 256, along the southern direction it passes around the cubit 514 (Devín Kobila), under the cubit 368 breaks and heads towards the cubit 306. From there it passes through the cubicle 228 on the state road Devin - Karlova Ves, which follows up to the level of the western edge of the Great Island, where it comes to the Danube River, follows its flow along the left bank along the Veližke Island, turns around its eastern tip and continues along the right bank of the dead shoulder and passes towards the eastern edge of the forest, which follows around the crest 284 (Kráľov vrch), circling the northern edge of the Bratislava-Charles Vsi, continues through the flow of the Chierne creek, follows the northeast and southeast edge of the forest, by which it continues to the flow of approximately 500 m, circa 191, going to the cubit 343, where the border continues to the starting point - cots 357 (Dúbravska Hlavica).
Area area is 65 504 ha.
II. Definition of the protection zone
The border of the zone protection zone is based on the same starting point as the border of the area, i.e. the Red Bridge, and is common to it along the Beijing Road, from there it is heading to the state road, continuing along it in the northeast direction via Bratislava-Rachu, Jur pri Bratislava, Styenice, Pezinok, Vinosada, Blue, Kráľová, Dubová, Častou, Doľany, Dolní Orešany, Horny Orešany, Smolenice, Trstina, Nazajska, Dechtice, Chelnice, Dolní Lopášov to the village of Vrůvůvůbov, from there continues along the southeast road to the village Knovany, turning north, follows the state road via Podolia, Častkovice, Čachtice to Nová Mesta nad Váhom. From there it continues in the western direction along the state road (here is the border of the protection zone common to the border of the region to the village of Hrusová) via the municipalities Bzince pod Javorina, Hrusová to the municipality of Stará Turá, from where it continues in the southeast direction along the town of Vaděžovka, Hráchoviště, further south-west direction via the village of Krajné, Podkylava, Košariska, Brez pod Bradlom, Hradišt pod Vratnom, Jablonica, Cěr-Lieskové, Priévaly, Převecký Peter, Plavecký Mikuláš ák Mikulásáš a, Pernek, Jabloné, and Lozorno, where the border of the border of the border, but after the river of Rohožník village of Rohožník. The area of the protection zone is 45063 ha.
